About This Game

Explore the endless expanses of Nitroverse, collecting precious resources and trading them for valuable items to arm yourself against a variety of enemies. it's up to you how far you get.

Content in current early access version

  • 5 types of resources
  • 3 types of NPC stations (craft items, trade resources, combine items)
  • 4 types of items with a total number of 64 items
  • All item effects can be combined (it can lead to extreme weapons that fill the entire screen)
  • 8 different normal enemies
  • 2 different elites
  • 3 different bosses (one of them in prime version)
  • 3 biomes
  • Persistent level progression.
  • Procedurally generated worlds.
  • A run contains 15 levels, the biome changes every 5 levels and each boss of a biome is a normal but rarer enemy in the next biome.
  • Performance optimized to handle several thousand objects (items, enemies, bosses) at once
  • Currently natively supported mouse and keyboard input

Tips

  • It is normal that you will lose runs. After each run you'll get experience that will let you level up. With each level you'll get skill points that can be distributed to different attributes, making it increasingly easier to reach the more difficult biomes.
  • If you are low on health, don't try to distract the enemies by flying away, because this can quickly lead to a huge swarm of enemies coming after you. It's better to dodge the projectiles.
  • You should invest your resources in crafting stations as soon as possible to get items, they will make you much stronger. you should also equip them (C to open the inventory).

Decent little game. Has potential but still needs some polish. Mine (shoot) asteroids for money, buy upgrades, fight enemies, grab loot. Repeat. Graphics feel a bit...flat... Not sure what to say. Not ugly but somehow they feel a bit like what you might expect from a Mobile game. Missing something textural. *NEEDS PROPER JOYSTICK SUPPORT BADLY*. If this was a true twin stick shooter, it would be so much more fun. Instead, using the right stick to move the mouse cursor is clumsy at best. Also, allow players to assign key bindings, please. I had no idea for some time, that pressing my left stick gave me an unlimited boost. Definitely recommended for the price if you need to scratch this sort of itch. Hopefully the developers still have some cool stuff in mind to add since it is still in early development. Help them out, buy the game, leave a review, give them ideas and feedback.
