The only positive I can find is that the game no longer launches, the spinning log in circle is vastly more entertaining than this shovelware.

The Open World Of Redfall
Redfall is a true Arkane experience set in a rich world that blends the familiar with the extraordinary. Redfall’s open world is handcrafted by the master level designers behind Prey’s Talos I space station and Dishonored’s Dunwall. From the town’s once-bustling downtown and the haunted forest to the decimated seaside boardwalk and beyond, you will fight through cultist outposts and supernatural psychic spaces as you piece together Redfall’s many mysteries.Screenshots
User Reviews
I got the game hoping for something closer to Arkane's previous games. Yes I saw the reviews, but I held out hope that the game had since been fixed. While the game is completely playable, it didn't have any of the elements I'd hoped for. It didn't feel immersive. Stealth is hardly an option, but only if you play as Jacob and spec into the tree in a specific way. Combat is hardly better. Enemies' behavior is unintelligent, and their animations often break. Looking for a good story? Find a different game. It could have made for a very story rich game, but it seems they'd spent all their budget on the world creation. That being the only reason I'm leaving a thumbs-up. If you're the type of person who just likes to explore an interesting looking world, this one is one of the most interesting worlds I've seen in a video game. Often gorgeous. But I myself am more interested in the gameplay. Nothing special there. In fact, it often felt clunky to navigate the world due to the detail put into...
Oh boy, even at -50% it is still overpriced. You know why? The game can't be launched. Yeah you heard me, I didnt say "doesnt launch" or "crashes at launch", no, I said "cant be launched. Why? Because I get stuck on a screen with "connecting to bethesda servers" (that stuff never worked in any games btw, just check Doom eternals) and to progress I have to click on the EULA agreement that is stuck BEHIND that "connecting" screen. That I cant fucking click, because Arkane Austin produced this abomination, and after learning that their heads was about to roll, they decided to sabotage the connection to this pile of shit. Man I don't know, I don't know how to explain the dread that filled me when I saw that there was an option for infinite ammo right off the bat, in a looter shooter. And now this. This motherfucking EULA trap screen. I'm glad i'm getting refunded, and i'm glad i'm addind my negative review to the already long, long list of negative reviews for this abhorrent pile of dog p...
Not as bad as people say. NPCs are meh tho! But still fun in its own way
