About This Game

Atlas Engine is a world creation program that makes building your map fast and easy! Atlas Engine's procedural generation eliminates the need for slow, tedious hand-placement of elements, while still giving you the freedom to sculpt your world as you see fit. I've owned this for a while now and have used it enough to know the application well enough. It works fine, it's never crashed (if it does I'll update this review), it does have some issues with sculpting at higher resolutions but I just lower the resolution and then after sculpting I higher it back up. I see other reviews talking about being difficult to use or something like that.. I've made a few maps that I'm very happy with in the short time I've used this and couldn't have done it without Atlas. It's easy to learn and easy to use, unless you don't know concepts like "seed" or the brush influence. I'd be interested to see another updated version come out in the future, perhaps using compute shaders to lighten the load a bit. Overall good app that serves the purpose it aimed for, I recommend it.
