About This Game

►► A neighbor reports some damage to a house in the sleepy town of Port Landsend, suspecting a robbery. When a nearby police cruiser stops to investigate he finds a shocking discovery- bodies, mutilated in horrific ways. Who could have done something so vicious in this town? Five suspects are brought in for questioning and case just weirder and weirder. Odd things begin happening at the precinct during the interviews, and all of them seem to be hiding something. Despite the department's best effort at getting a confession, the case turns cold over the years.

Now it's your job to search through a new proprietary police database, to look for any overlooked clues in the interrogation footage and physical evidence in the case. Your investigation will take many twists and turns. The glitches are just because it's a new database, right? The town's shadows are long and dark. Shine a light on them. Welcome to the Interrogation Files.

This is such a frustrating game to play. Not hard, but frustrating. The acting isn't great for most of the cast... but Natalie's actress is so bad it's actually painful to listen to. On top of that, when you click "search" you then have to click inside the search box... every single time; why not make this occur automatically and save the player hundreds of clicks? The truly annoying thing, though, is that you can search for keyword x, and return 3-4 videos for it... but then later on, you'll come across another video that is ONLY talking about x, yet it didn't appear in the prior list. Like... why??? And this will happen repeatedly throughout playing.

Worth the price and has a very twisted story to uncover. No real help, just you, a search bar and your own deductive reasoning. If you get stuck, there is a messanger man who provides a vid now and then. 7/10

I got this game on a whim... I am so glad I did that! The game is quite nice. The whole detective, investigation, cold case aspect of the game is really well executed. The live action video recordings really bring you into the mystery. The actors are pretty good, for the most part. Only one broke the immersion for me. She kept looking off to the side so much, that you could tell she was reading a script held off camera. She also read it like one reads a book, out loud in a class, that they've seen for the first time. Her cadence didn't match the words she spoke. It came off unnatural. It really took me out of the experience when she came up. Otherwise all the other actors were great!!! I give it an 8 out of 10. it's actually really good and interesting.

This is VERY underrated. Even though it's a clone of the concept that Sam Barlow pioneered, this does it with solid writing and on far less pretentious and meandering ways as the original with far more gripping plotting from the outset Sam Barlows work is more art filmy and preachy where it can be a bit of an endurance to get thru a lot of filler and banality. This is more in line with a police procedural and straight forward If you're a Her Story fan, this is like a spiritual sequel in a way with multiple suspects but all more fleshed out. It's a pity the developer didnt get out more review copies to reviewers from the looks of things or more adventure/mystery lovers would be aware of the game
