Works on Valve index. Trigger to grab. it's good. not insanely realistic. More arcade feeling, but it's good. no settings to be seen so far. If you don't like disk golf do not pick this up. If you do like disk golf in your spare time. This is amazing! Fun. I find it most fun to explore the places and figure out where you are and how you will get through a course. There is obstacles that move so it's way more engaging than a local park. the only cons about disk throwing is you can NOT tomahawk that disk like in real life where it goes vertical then levels out flat waaay far away. But jacking around aside it feels just like launching a disk in real life. Throwing it sane like feels just like the real deal. No complaints about lag or that when you let go it feels wrong, it's perfect. Pick it up if you into disk golf. Go do disk golfing irl before getting this, it feels the same.

Love the environment and physics. Fun courses. Please. Please. Please add the ability to turn with your controller as well as your body. For those of us with a smaller space to play, this is incredibly helpful.

The environments are beautiful and the atmosphere is nice, but most importantly, the physics are SPOT ON. I honestly can't believe how well they nailed the disc physics and the throwing mechanics. It's been a while since I've played disc golf and I was never very good, but I immediately found myself falling naturally into the same habits/techniques I use in real life (for better and worse), because the disc responds exactly as expected to differences in throwing velocity, timing of release, angle of attack, the angular velocity of your arm at the time of release, etc. I'm super super impressed — there's obviously a lot of content and features yet to come, but the core gameplay mechanics are *way* more polished and tuned than I would have expected from a week-one early access title.

There is throw a disc....That is the entire game. Scenery is neat looking. The tutorial is a single image on how to move your arm. Not even where to throw to get to the "hole"/"net". After that really hard to find where to go for the "hole". Velocity seems incredibly low IE you can throw 15 meters max. And overall just not fun. There is nothing going on here.

Oh, there's a lot to like here. The environments are beautiful and varied, there are nice changes in elevation and the path wraps around buildings or natural features to keep things interesting, and there are some fun moving obstacles. There's lots of lovely little interactive bits: A crank handle to scroll through the map, a gong to hit to select the location, and more that I won't spoil but it's these kinds of little touches that really make VR come alive and are so satisfying. As for the disc golf physics well I've only played IRL verrrry casually many years ago but it seems to respond as expected, including changing the angle of the disc to curve throws, although sometimes I have trouble with controlling the distance especially on one level to throw it far enough to get over a deep trench/canyon. However this very well could just be a lack of skill on my part, I also suck at disc golf in real life and other VR games like Rec Room (although I still enjoy it anyway!). Given that, I'...

Its alright tbh. Its a fun take on the disc golf genre of VR games and is the best multiplayer disc golf game. However, the physics aren't even close to real-to-life, they are very arcadey. To the point that it can be frustrating at times, but it is still a good experience with friends.

I recommend this game to someone looking for an arcade game based on disc golf. I do not recommend it for someone looking for a realistic simulation of disc golf. I don't think this is the developer's fault though. Now that I have tried this game, I don't think it would be possible to make a realistic simulation without some kind of controller accessory. Even then, I'm not sure how this can be done. It's different from regular golf because you don't release the club when you swing as you do a disc when you throw. I only played for 25 minutes and am returning since it's not the kind of game that I am looking for.

ok as a game but for someone who plays disk golf , its disappointing, the disk dynamics ok for short throws, hopeless for long, the coarses are all windey with walls houses and trees, no chance for a decent throw. It does not work well for side arm throwers. For someone who does not play probably a fun game.
