About This Game

BZZZT is a fast-paced "jump-dash-run" platformer game combining a nostalgic pixel-art look with a modern gameplay design. It was almost single-handedly made by one developer – Karel Matejka, known as Ko.dll, as a tribute to beloved classic games.

Inspired by the 80's tech revolution, this insanely detailed, pixel-art precision platformer transports you back in time, where you’ll get to experience a thrilling adventure, cleverly designed levels, a whole plethora of skills to unlock, and intense boss fights!

Very good, tight gameplay. Perfect for fans of timed platformers like Neon White.

Yes you can have localisations for 11 languages but Chinese, because you said you were short on resources(when there were players providing completed translation for free but got humiliated in your discord). Yes you can carefully, deliberately pick 2 negative reviews and flaming nearly 50 perc of players who were playing even without their language on twitter, because you prob are a racist. and Yes of course I can downvote your game(and your games in the future), because I am just loving it <3. also, this review costs me 2 dollars(which is a lot to a chinese because theyre so poor!), and 10 minutes staying in menu, please spare some appreciation for your loyal customer ye?

A retro platformer that's easy to love. From the basic gameplay mechanics to the catchy retro music, this is an easy recommend.

I've always been a massive fan of platforming games and BZZZT is an excellent precision platformer. In the same vein as other games like 1001 Spikes, Celeste, and Super Meat Boy BZZZT is a challenging but excellent platformer. BZZZT just like the other games mentioned is incredibly engaging due to quick respawns after death and is all about precision and timing to navigate through laser blasts and other obstacles. At the time of this review I've completed Normal mode and collected all the collectables for each level. While there is time trials and bonus stages to unlock the main game is pretty short. I can easily recommend BZZZT for any fan of the platforming genre especially if Super Meat Boy, Celeste and 1001 Spikes are up your alley.

Plays like a Super Meat Boy, looks like a Jetpack Joyride. There are a lots of mechanics that get introduced throughout the game. It's fun :)

A shorter experience, but it's really well done and deserves praise. Worth the money, for those who like platform games.

BZZZT is a little retro gem that nails the basics: gorgeous pixel art that oozes charm, a soundtrack so catchy it’ll live rent-free in your head, and razor-sharp controls that make every jump feel precise (and every death 100% your fault). The only downside? It’s short — more like a delightful espresso shot than a full cup of coffee. But if you’re after a tight, stylish, and addictive platformer, this is absolutely worth the buzz.

It's truly a simple and fun platformer game! Movement feels smooth and I like the powerups you get throughout the game. The timer in each level keeps you wanting to figure out how to beat a level faster and the bonus stages add some extra fun,
