I did enjoy this VN but I can't recommend it, especially at full price, I bought this with the 10% release sale, but even that was too much. I did take the time to get all achievements, got to get my money's worth. The Good: Art work is nice as is the music. Good characters. Story was good. The Bad: Slight nitpick, the inability to name the protagonist, you're stuck with the character's name whether you like it not. There are far too many typos. I spotted them very often. I do understand it's difficult to have perfect spelling and I expect a handful of typos but I think this game had enough to ruin the experience slightly. The stats indicator is bad. It's a lot of little bars that get coloured in so it's not possible to see what level you are at quickly. Either you need to keep track with pen and paper or count the bars, did I mention there are 40+ bars for each stat? Speaking of stats, most are pretty pointless, unless completing the exhibitions. Speaking of exhibitions, there'...

I only finished Emile's route at the moment but I can say that the game is worth it: The art is really cute and the characters are so charming that it's kinda hard to choose one at first. Story-wise the plot is quite straightforward but engaging at the same time: you end up rooting for the MC's success pretty easily. The only downside you should take into account: the game has only been released a few days ago there are some issues at the moment, but the devs are working on those so they should be solved pretty soon. I definitely recommend this game!!!

I really wanted to like this game as I've been following development since last year. Game release was postponed due to developer needing more time to code which is understandable. After I bought it, I got a game crashing error - contacted developer to let them know and was told that would be fixed in about 4 days. It didn't happen. I now read from the community that developer is still coding another week in the game and that's why error keeps popping up. If this was an early access game, I could understand - but it was sold as a full game. I unfortunately had to ask for refund (almost didn't get it as it took over 2 hours to get to error). I understand that bugs might occur, but lack of transparency should not be accepted . It's a pity, the art does look good so kudos for that.

I supported this game on Kickstarter and played a NSFW version on itch.io and I also decided to buy it on Steam so I can leave a positive review: Night & Day sure as hell deserves it!
Things I loved:
1. The sprites! They are SOOO gorgeous! I love Marimo's art so much, the wonderful painting style is such a pleasure to look at. All the different expressions are so varied and beautifully done! I was playing and just couldn't stop from taking screenshots of them! 10/10 2. The music! Loved that soothing and pleasant vibe. There's innocence to it, which was unique and uplifting. Huge highlight of my gaming experience. Sometimes I would leave the game running and do other stuff...while listening to the tracks on repeat... 3. The writing of relationships and characters. I'm picky with my BL VNs, really picky. I get bored so easily. The relationship development felt truly believable in Night & Day (So far I only played Bernard's route and Emile's). I enjoyed seeing how things prog...

I have fallen in love with this story. I am not one much for visual novels usually (I only came across them when looking for something else/getting into gaming just a few months ago) but was curious and tried the demo and found it intriguing. There is great care taken in all of the dynamics of advancing the character with skills but also earning money, socializing, etc. The historical context helps make the story especially rich. There is a lot more depth here than I initially expected, and I'm still meandering my way through seeing what comes of interacting with various characters. I also appreciate - especially now that I've gotten to a certain part that would probably be a bit of a spoiler - that there is a completely separate (more or less), rather internal and emotional story line the character follows writing letters to a dear friend. All in all, a very interesting story that I'm excited to get to explore further now that the full game has been released. EDIT: Now that I've pl...

For now the game is a tad buggy. But there's also some really good scenes and good content. the negatives is there's a lot of repeating scenes. Or where the progress you've made with people doesn't add up to the scenes you're seeing. But the game is also quite long, I like the art, humour (plus the sexy vibes, very good sexy vibes), the content of the convos and scenes, [strike]when they don't repeat[/strike]. The characters and sidecharacters were very loveable in each their own way. Would I recommend it ? Well I'm a fan of Ertal Games because of the awesomeness that was "My Burning Heart" <-- BUY IT, IT'S SO GOOD !, "A Hand in the Darkness" (this one is no longer on steam but still on itch) and the little game Lurkers i quite liked too ... so I'd say sure buy this it is not a bad game at all far from it, but at this price 17 euro ? for now i can't say a clear yes to recommending it at this price, because of the bugs, so I'd wait for a sale and i hope the developers fixes s...

Will leave a more detailed review later, but I finished Emile's good ending and I think it was pretty cute! I had a good time playing this VN, and I didn't run into any game-stopping bugs like some people. I think the devs did a good job!

Honestly, the game is everything I need in a VN: >Nice writing >Pretty artworks >Fun gameplay >Catchy music It's quite rare for me to be invested into all routes in a VN at once, but here we are. I couldn't help but like all of them, even though I definitely had a favourite ( ꈍᴗꈍ) I also have been listening to jazz music only for wuite a while, the game has such a nice vibe and I want to hold on to it for a bit longer, haha Have to say that using a guide for each route is mandatory, I encoutered quite a few bugs and error messages in the game, sadly. But I'm sure it's avoidable if you stick to the instructions. The structure of the game seems more complex than in your average VN, I see why getting rid of all possible issues might be tricky. Nevertheless, I still recommend playing it. The experience is totally worth it! Maybe in the future the game will run more smoothly and it will become a perfect VN in my humble opinion.

I enjoyed playing this game, I like the freedom to choose what to do that affects the outcome and the art is pretty well done. I have played 2 of the 4 routes and so far Emile is my favorite.

I really wanted to give this game a good review, but I just can’t. The game feels unfinished, it feels unrefined, and it's buggy. It feels like a lot of unique elements and ideas smashed together with poor execution on so many levels. Some VNs in the adult genre are just “porn with extra steps,” so a basic story with one-dimensional characters to just hold everything together between the smut is a common theme in the genre… but this game can’t even stand on that. There’s just not enough variety in the routes, or romance / H scenes to warrant the price or compensate for the flaws here.
TL;DR
- Overall art style and quality is highly inconsistent and the game credits indicate multiple artists on the team, so I assume this is why - There are not enough CGs (3-4 per route, 1 NSFW per route), and again they are inconsistent in style and quality - Music is upbeat and theme-friendly but repetitive and transitions are jarring at times - Story is simple, nothing groundbr...
