The words in the hidden object scenes were often misleading or flat-out wrong (says "avocado" when the thing to find was very clearly a kiwi, etc.). As far as the story, the first thing that happened was that the player character's wife was taken hostage by some criminals, and it came off as pretty sexist. Maybe later in the story she'll actually be useful and interesting, but as it stands she seems to just be present to motivate her husband to save her. Boring. Additionally, items with "Mayan magic" played a big role, and it seems like the writers just picked a non-white civilization at random for some inauthentic mysticism.

MEH RATING! I cannot recommend this game as it annoys the heck out of me, but it's not quite a negative either. Steam really needs a meh rating. It has quite a few of the annoyances that I have with bad hidden object games. The hidden objects are basically thrown in a pile, and they are not blended in with the scenes. They are usually on top of a themed scene which is okay but not great. Also, objects are mis-labeled - it asked for an avocado, but it really wanted a kiwi. There's no penalty for mis-clicking, so you can just click on everything until you find what they wanted. One of the hidden object annoyances that I hate the most is inventory items that could be used in a situation that don't work. I put together a slingshot ... can I use the rock with it ... no ... it requires a different item. There is a wooden pole with an item tied to the top ... can I use the hacksaw to cut down the pole ... no ... it requires a different item. Can I use it to saw something else ... n...
Very short traditional fun "Search for objects". The chronicle of the people, which is considered by the historian, acquired an offer from the businessman John according to the surname Atkins to visit the former forgotten town, to which certain former objects belong. Unfortunately, this individual turned out to be an intruder who seeks to find value also has a need for a lump - in this case, who exactly is able to read the signs. Atkins took the man's wife in order to force him to function into him. There was no other option for Bill except to act as a mean person in order to win his wife. During the period of his own searches, someone found the narrator and scattered messages from Corwin, a person near whom there is wealth, which Atkins is looking for. Will a single person be able to find his own wife also find value?
This game is TERRIBLE. I mean, truly awful. That's why I LOVE it! The voice acting sucks, the accents make no sense, the storyline makes no sense, the sound effects are cheesy as all hell and borderline annoying, and the gameplay is mid at best. Still, if you're like me and actually enjoy absolute garbage like the Room or Troll 2, I highly suggest you grab this one on sale or in a bundle. Worth $5? I mean, for me it was since I've played it probably four times now. While intoxicated. And streaming for friends. For the average HOB enjoyer or generally sane individual, though? Probably not.
Infuriatingly terrible. Several of the action items that you have to click on are so close to the back arrows that you constantly end up backing out of an area and having to re-enter when you meant to click on the action item. Items that SHOULD be capable of getting a job done simply can't because the game expects you to use a much less sensible approach (there's a tree with gnarly branches in your way and you have a machete in your inventory, but you can't use it; there's a wooden door that's locked that would only require one hard strike to open, but again, you can't use the machete for that). Sometimes, you bring an inventory object to the place where it was meant to be used, but because you didn't line it up EXACTLY right, it wouldn't work. Not only that, but the graphics are so poor. There are parts of the town and items that you can tell the developers just duplicated with a mirroring app because it's the exact same saloon except everything is written backwards.
I always enjoy this little western story. I've played it before from another source. This is an Adventure HOG. It has a journal, fast-travel map with activity indicators, help/skip functions, nice artwork & voice acting. It has a nice balance of HOPs, story, puzzles, & walking around and finding items & things to solve. I would like to see another game, and longer play time.
As a child, I loved to play such quest games. I bought this game and remembered my childhood. Interesting tasks, a plot wrapped in the wild West.
another casual games with a search for objects and its own interesting story. I play it with pleasure and I advise you.
Got this game on a "Hidden Object" bundle with a nice discount so I wasn't too upset when the game turned out to be too short. I enjoyed the cheesy graphics and voice acting and could have looked past the nonsensical plot but the abrupt ending really bothered me. At first I thought I had gotten a "bad ending" but it seems the game is just that short in every difficulty. I enjoyed the time limit on the puzzles but nothing happened if you ran out of time, you could just keep solving the puzzle without restarting or anything, so what was the point of the time bar then? As others have pointed out, some items on the Hidden Object part are labeled incorrectly, which is a big problem for a game like this.
Its game that explores the mind, Aztec mind puzzles. Like: hidden object were interesting enough. Dislike: you could not rescue your wife or plan cause interactions like take out people it was hands off method. Personal opinion: next time please make game bit more so that just not just one ending. Or options. Aztec mind puzzles are very short.
