doom 1996 This game is like if H. P. Lovecraft forced old DOOM and new DOOM to have unprotected sex while borderlands filmed the whole thing, and honestly I'm here for it.
Post Void: 100% COMPLETION REVIEW

If you love completing games, take a look at our curator site.

DOOM, but you sniffed 5g of cocaine and watched Jack Stauber videos all night... Post Void is the craziest, most psychedelic boomer shooter one can find. Your eyes will bleed, your brain will ache, and your younger cousin will dance on the floor after seeing the flashing lights of this game. Lightning speed fast paced gameplay, unique artstyle, quirkyness, this game has it all! It's a dirt cheap boomer shooter any enjoyer of the genre should try. It's a super short game that can be 100%ed in less than two hours. More productive to buy and play this game than to get that Twix bar.
Post Void had so much promise for me. It's got a good track, an interesting visual style and a good gimmick; You run fast and shoot things to heal. At first I felt like this was like hotline Miami in first person. There's just not much here. I beat this game within 18 minutes, on my second run. Every level is a narrow hallway, enemies more or less instantly explode, and there isn't much enemy variety. There's eyeball gun guys, a little tentacle turrent, drones that shoot you, and a severed hand that flash bangs you. Super cool stuff, just not much variety. Do you want to beat this game easily? Find an uzi, use your infinite ammo to spray and pray and literally never stop because there's never any reason to. Half the time you can't really tell the enemies from the environment anyway. Just keep shooting and moving forward. This is fun, but it's not really for me. I'm not a high score junkie, and the levels are too similar to warrant playing this for more than the 18 minutes I pla...
Very addictive, music loop isn't too annoying, very stylish. Of course, as all of these kinds of games are, an absolute no-go if you have absolutely no tolerance for bullshit (procedurally generated T shaped hallway with one random dead end, enemies spawning around corners, dodging into and bodyblocking you, the closer you are the less accurate you become (kinda intended ig but also, just, playtime in which you're "doomed" is wasted playtime; don't force bodyshots on me). I believe mouse acceleration is enabled by default and locked (horrible horrible choice, R.I.P. flick aim) As someone whose closest reference to this would be mullet mad jack (which I got to playtest at a convention) I'm glad to see it seems to be inspired by something slightly more psychotic. It truly is the gorbinos quest of Microsoft 3D Maze shooters
my god my mind is so numb but so fast my god the world is so bright and so fun and there is blood coming out my nose im so dizzy i think ill just lie down for awhile......................
game is super fast paced and fun. Short but worth the time and money.
Post Void is an extremely short game with a distinctive art style. It’s also known for pioneering a new sub-genre in FPS, which many games have adapted, such as Mullet Mad Jack, Anger Foot, and Cruel. Compared to its spawns, it’s the shortest. The whole game can be completed in under an hour, and by that, I mean getting all achievements. The story is explained in a very short introduction, and then you’re left with an idol in your hand, shooting everything in sight before the idol is empty, leaving you dead afterwards. To fill the idol, you need to kill enemies constantly. Since it’s a very short game, there isn’t much enemy variety, and they all get predictable after a few minutes. It’s a roguelike, and you’re presented with upgrade choices upon completing a level which takes about 30 seconds each. The levels have randomized layouts as well, therefore, adding a bit of replay value. If you’re up for something short and distinct, Post Void could be a good choice to ki...
Run as fast as you can and shoot whatever you think you see. If you can't see what's happening, you're doing great. This game is very fun; sadly, it is really short. The artstyle is very charming and unique, and the game isn't afraid of creating its own identity through it. The music slaps and fits the game very well. Your health, being indicated by the idol you hold in your hand, is very distinct to other games. The roguelike aspects are fine. Wish this game was longer and had more levels. If you enjoy games like Doom, Ultrakill or similar titles, then this game is definitely worth trying out.
Я впервые вижу настолько уникальный и выедающий глаза арт-стайл у игры. В общем: мне прожгли глаза, но мне даже понравилось. Рекомендую заценить. Все выполнено хорошо и просто. 7/10.
