I-Exist: Consciousness VR

First off: this thing is beautiful. It reminds me a bit of the video "The Third and the Seventh", which is something that I've been hoping to find in VR form. It also reminds me of dreams where I am suddenly a post-human navigating a strange new world. The aesthetics are incredible. I want to live there. I don't hate the movement mechanics, and this is speaking as someone who mostly plays Beat Saber due to my seeming inability to cultivate solid VR legs. I only feel the slightest bit queasy, so that's cool. The directional audio is super cool and the room with the music broken down into four parts being played through separate orbs was amazing. I also enjoyed the crackling from the torches. The music itself is well done but not really my thing, and that's fine. That's all a matter of taste, so I won't be too critical here. I love this sort of art but man what is going on with the good reviews. This is what I'd expect from a student showing me a half finished project - a couple of good initial art ideas but over repeated and very clunky bad and unfinished navigation. Certainly wouldn't pay a penny for it in this state. If I couldn't get a refund I'd feel very ripped off.
