Grab a couple friends, and enjoy the next two hundred hours. It's just one of those games that's amazing with friends to play, but pretty average without.

Such a good game. It only got stale for me at 150 hours. The first DLC is the best one. The second was meh. The third was pretty great. The game is essentially a coop 3rd person souls like shooter with meaningful RPG elements and many, many secrets. The game can be played solo, but is more difficult. The coop play is seamless drop in and drop out. If you haven't played it, I would highly recommend.
The combat is top tier but I could not care less about the story. Final boss is one of the coolest boss fights in ANY video game and I will die on that hill. Better than its predecessor in just about every facet besides how many weird upgrades there are. Too much going on in that aspect for a campaign that is barely over 10 hours.
Navigation and level design kinda suck. Also a lot of the systems for gaining power felt unnecessarily complicated. Really hated all the npc's and dialogue too.
What a stupid fucking game. Waited so long to play this, bought it on special. Had to force myself to finish it. Convoluted AF, the side characters doesn't matter, the ending is trash. Started the game with a shotgun finished it with my shotgun same mod, had the enigma, finished it with the enigma. There is "customisation" but it doesn't matter Jack shit. I haven't played and finished a game like this and be disappointing in a loooong time. What a fucking waste of time.
Game runs well and doesn't have any bugs that I ran into, but I cannot for the life of me get into it. World doesn't seem too alive with enemies, but it does have an immersive quality. The combat isn't all that great -- basically shoot, dodge, shoot, dodge. Boss fights are mediocre at best with no amazing qualities. You basically are shooting a bullet sponge until you win. After not enjoying the first Remnant game I figured this would be different, and I was wrong. REMNANT II is not the best souls-like or looter shooter game out there, there's far better.
The inital 5-6 hours of this game is brutally inconsistant with it being a roguelike. Definitely keep your game public as no bosses are balanced around solo play. Not very well balanced and the bosses spamming attacks that can be difficult to get dodging right is frustrating. Beat the campaign and then uninstalled. Not really worth it as the story is pretty light and uninteresting compared to the first Remnant game.
Great game(play), looks beautiful, generating a new story when you re-enter a world is amazing, so many secrets to uncover, fun to play together but also nice solo.
Just very frustrating and boring, alot of backtracking after finding your way through mazes of levels. Boss design is kinda lame, story is non existent, one boss fight was against a collection of cubes that were rocks and would smash you... it was just an entire hour or two of fighting cube shaped rocks. . Which was so dull and un inspired that afterwards I put the game down and havent picked it up again.
The game itself is OK, but it hammers your PC on even medium settings - and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. My CPU thermal protection kicked in after the load suddenly ramped up in one location and my graphics card is loaded heavily all the time. This isn't a hardware issue - it only happens on this game, no other high-end games. Unfortunately, this means that playing the game takes life out of your very expensive hardware, for very little benefit. There are much nicer-looking games, with better storylines, controls and graphics that don't trash your PC.
