The Walking Fish 2: Final Frontier

This is a fantastic game about fish. It's scary and sometimes surprisingly hard. But the humour in it is awesome! I can't recommend this is enough! BUY IT! I am scarred for life and out of pants.

Amazing. Absolute masterpiece. It had me screaming in terror, and crying in sadness. Bravo.

I seriously had so much fun playing this its not a very long game but i had a lot of laughs 10/10

The game has two levels. Then the game breaks and asks for a patch. When you put in the patch the game transforms into another game. The second part isn't really a game. It's just a bunch of weird stuff before you get to the end. The game isn't finished. What is there is pretty good. It's mostly a pet project of the devs. What is there looks very nice. The devs did a good job. I was afraid of the fish. It doesn't go anywhere though. It's more like a pitch for the idea of a game. I'll recommend the game but you should know what it is that you're buying.

A nonsense joke-game which starts off OK and the trails off into full trolling as if the developers suddenly lost the will to keep working on the project. I guess it's kind of funny, but I wouldn't consider it "good" at all.

What the store page is neglecting to mention is that after a few fun levels of ridiculous scifi horror (which I loved), it devolves into a meta-funny mess fueled by the devs' "I wish I wrote the Stanley Parable" energy. I got as far as training for the big race inb mop town and it crashed but because the autosaves are so badly placed I had to restart that sequence and my hand already hurt from mashing J and L, so I said fuck it and uninstalled. I was sitting on this game for months waiting for a good time to sit and enjoy it and wound up disappointed.

The Walking Fish left me puzzled, confused and highly amused. I asked a friend who is more into movies than I am what he thinks about the game. He'd describe it as David Lynch's and Monthy Python's autistic daughter. So we both agreed to consider it a job well done.

Upon further inspection, he is a bad boi. [/strike] Upon playing the updated version, it turns out he is really just a misunderstood boi. A fish with legs born into a world of fish with no legs, being shunned and branded as evil by his peers. The Walking Fish is actually more than a horror game, it's a game that challenges our views of what is normal. Is the Walking Fish the monster, or are we the monsters for branding him as one, making him question his own validity?
