I love this style of pixel art, it make me feel nostalgic of the good old days, and i like to explore so this gets a thumbs up from me. But If your looking for a game where you can mow down enemies left, right and centre, this is not the game for you. this game is more like a story driven scavenger hunt.

At first I found the game cute and endearing, as I played more I found it addictive and wanted to find all of the sets, if you enjoy that, that'll exactly what you'll get, no in game music makes it kinda bland so have your own on standby for while you work hard at it I didn't quite make the goal of completing the set however, I gathered all of them except I couldn't find the Queen of Clubs for the life of me, and I couldn't figure out how to finish General Keibon's Quest either, so I presume the bastard was holding out on me, also I never figured out the Winter Solstice thing either

As the title suggests, this game is a collectathon style, find all the pieces to finish the game. However, there are several extra things hidden around for those who are willing to look. Worth the price for a couple hours of casual fun and exploration.

Updated review, August 2024: First, thank you to the 22 people who found my original review helpful. Apparently I originally had a very negative opinion of the game back when it first came out. Well, here we are 4 years later, and the game has received some updates, and a "director's cut". The game has also been made available for free. So what has changed? Well, for starters, there is SOUND. Music. Even some voice-over for character dialogue. It is amazing at how much that helps make this feel more alive. I still wish there were a map (even one with Fog of War to obscure places you havent visited), but at least you can click on your character to warp back home. (although I wish there was a confirmation on that, as I've accidentally sent myself home several times.). I still havent found the fishing or digging tools, but at least everything feels like there's more structure to gameplay. Good job Dev for listeing to feedback. Original post May 2020: The game feels so... lifeless. T...
