The visuals in the screenshots were not taken from in-game footage, they are substantially more basic in the game. In fact the visuals even at ultra settings are blocky with low quality textures. Animations are simple. Basic collision detection, the enemy are like ghosts with your sword strikes and you passing cleanly through them. Use teleport movement as the free locomotion is useless, it's a snails pace is required rapidly navigate the map which is very much a requirement. Any redeeming features, no! The gameplay is really dull so I'm skipping a bunch of other general fails as I can't be bothered to waste my time. And you shouldn't either. Game is in early access b...

About This Game
You are a Defender from Citadel of Light, sent to a war-torn kingdom to deal with undead hordes from the Dark Tower. With four weapon types, each with a unique fighting style, you take on missions to cleanse the land from foul creatures. You will fight against undead nobles, soldiers, wardens, sorcerers and their hideous minions. Long dead, they will haunt you, attack you, fiddle with your plans and tactics; they will do everything they can to protect their Necromancer Queen.
Game on and have fun! Relentless arcade action suitable even for people new to VR!

Needs a bit of work. Pretty basic game play with under powered feeling weapons. Bow and arrow is fun as heck but just under powered. The drill and pistol thing is just a busted design, in my opinion. It isn't fun at all. The sword and board is fun. But there is no haptic feedback as of yet so it just feels like you are swinging through the air... but, the game is early access.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_3NgNgSnHw This game did not have a lot a content even with the small price tag. 3 levels is hardly what I would call a complete game as you can essentially "complete" this game in less than an hour. That being said, I had a lot of fun during my first play through. While I didn't like the wand and the drill was really weird, the bow was so much fun! I have yet to try the game on nightmare mode but I would be interested to see how hard this game can be. The thing we need to remember is that this is in Early Access, and for a game that is cheap and still under development I can still recommend this game. It will have Online Co-op at some point which I can see being really enjoyable with some strategy coming into play. Once you have beaten the whole game you can still go back and try to beat your times and place on the global leaderboards. I encourage you to check the Early Access notes from the devs and see what they are planning. If they include more...
I cannot believe how good the first Witching Tower was compared to this so-called sequel. It is just a cheesy wave killer with very poor melee. You just keep slashing frantically to kill all the skeletons as fast as possible, There are many other melee games out there now far superior to this one. I know these Dev's are very capable, so if this game improves drastically, I will update my review to positive.
Since Witching Tower was such a great puzzle game, when this came along I grabbed it. Very little innovation here. Just a wave fighting game, nothing to get excited about...I would pass (but do grab Witching Tower).
Really great game but it needs gameplay optimization , i can literally finish the game without hitting a single enemy ! Its an arcade MOBA , with fast paced gameplay and nice weapon combos but still without multiplayer Would recommend 100% , there will be multiplayer support !
