Idea is good, the programming and minimalist visuals are good but as an arcade Breakout / Arkanoid variant the game fails. Where Arkanoid and its more common variants have paddles, Probe has a probe that shoots vertically meaning you have to shoot the ball. The issue is primarily when your probe is in single shot mode it's not a matter of skill. Hold down the shot button and move your probe side to side tracking the ball but it's very possible for the ball to just pass through the intermittent bullet stream. Needs work to flesh out this issue.

Awesome nostalgic game! A cool mix between Brick Breaker and Galaga.
This game changes up the typical ball-breaker style of game by forcing you to hit the ball with bullets to keep it in play, and destroying your ship if it touches the ball. Unfortunately, this makes keeping the ball active just a chore. On levels with a triple-shot powerup, it's playable. On levels without one or when you miss it, it's just painful.
Super addictive. I thought I would just play for a minute and put it down but I wound up playing for 6 hours straight. It brings back feelings of playing galaga at my favorite pizza place as a child. I could really see it sitting along games like galaga and space invaders in an arcade in the 90's. I haven't spent so much time playing with balls since church camp!!! 10/10
Being stuck at home, I've been aching for a trip to a good barcade, but since that's not an option I turned to steam, and I'm glad I did. This really captures the feel of a classic arcade. It's challenging, but crazy fun and addictive. Definitely takes you back to a simpler time when toilet paper wasn't a rare commodity.
Fun game for a short play in a day. Just some technical difficulties here and there. [FIXED ALREADY] And a question for the dev: The achievement where you have to retry a level, doesn't work for me. What do I have to do, to get it?
Probe is not the kind of game that I usually play, but I was pleasantly surprised after being told about it by a friend. It's got an interesting mechanic which makes you juggle a ball while playing a classic block breaker game. It's fun and challenging and only a few dollars. Keep up the great work. :)
About 3 hours of good entertainment for cheap money. A little challenging at the end but never to hard. Together with the beautiful soundtrack and artwork it's defenitely worth to try probe!
Easily got into the top 10 all-time scores. See if you can too.
