The Forest Cathedral

No Spoilers: I bought this game immediately after launch which I have never in my entire life done before as I loved the developers previous game and the premise of a historical fiction game revolving around DDT seemed incredibly interesting. Overall, I think the game was executed perfectly with an interesting blend of the 2D and 3D technology. The sci-fi technology in the game in general makes it interesting and the game legitimately looks beautiful, but the game has 1 primarily flaw, it is way too short unfortunately. The games ideas are all there are each one is executed essentially perfectly, but the the ideas do not get to fully flesh out as well as they could. At a casual pace where I spent time exploring the environment, I beat the entire game in just under 90 minutes. The game just feels incredibly short, and I can see all the ways it could be fleshed out more, but unfortunately it is what it is. The game dont feel right, it is quite far from what u could expect from trailer

I started out playing an adventure game with a specific story and ended up playing super mario (80's). This is actually the most challenging part of the game and bears no connection whatsoever to the plot, which is about uncovering the truth about the dangerous effects of a pesticide to be commercialized. I think the addition of the super mario part was forced and stands out as irrelevant to the story.

I'm going to give it a thumbs up because is an indie game with a new idea but everything in this puzzle game seems weird to me. First off the way they choose to progress in the game... by playing a 2D game. Just make a 2D game if that's what you like. I really got mad playing this platformer. Secondly, I couldn't get in this story at all and the way they chose to tell the story is, again, weird for me. So I think this game in general is not for me lol, but I can say that it has nice graphics, nice atmosphere (for what setup its trying to create), good performance and some little bugs. All in all I think the dev made a mistake with 2d puzzles, they are really annoying but if those are your cup of tea go ahead. Very Niche Very Epic

I have never before played something so high quality and simultaneously so very very low quality. Still by far the best 'Forest' game on Steam.

A weird and interesting piece of media that perfectly conveys the sentiment behind the world-changing book "Silent Spring". While technical and mechanical details could be polished, it manages to create a persistent narrative about the dangers of humankind's intervention in nature.
