About This Game

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is an open-world survival horror video game serving as both a sequel and prequel to the original Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut.

The story takes place in present-day Boston where it turns out FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan will have to revisit a case he thought was solved in 2005. Through unique storytelling, venture back in time to the American town Le Carré, Louisiana and uncover the mysteries buried within this once peaceful town.

Follow Agents Davis and Jones as they begin a new investigation into the Le Carré serial murders. Through the memories of a former FBI agent, go back in time to Le Carré and step into the role of Special Agent York to begin unraveling the mystery.

• Return as FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan (just call him York - everyone does) and experience a brand-new murder mystery!

• Both a prequel and a sequel: A historic investigation to uncover the murder mystery in Le Carré

• An open-world adventure: Travel around the town of Le Carré by foot or skateboard

• Mini-games: Bowling, Bayou Ride, Skateboard Challenge, and more

• Customisation: Customise your character and upgrade your skateboard for improved speed and landing more difficult tricks

SO INSTEAD OF A WELL ENDOWED BLONDE CHICK FOLLOWING YOU AROUND YOU NOW HAVE A LOLI FOLLOWING YOU AROUND CAW CAW. I CAN SKIP ROCKS IN REAL LIFE. HOWEVER I URGE THIS DEVELOPER TO NEVER STOP MAKING WEIRD GOOFY BORDERLINE SHOVELWARE GAMES CAW CAW. ESPECIALLY WITH THE OBSCURE MOVIE REFERENCES CAW CAW. THE GAME'S INTRO IS SLOWER THAN A BOXING MAIN EVENT WALK OUT TIME CAW CAW.

awful port, no keyboard/mouse support, the button prompts using Switch's layout icons and you can't change them. the game is also way worse than the first game. the pace is extremely slow, too much talking, rarely any action. the graphics are also too outdated, game looks like a PS3 game. stay away from it.

The characters, story, and gameplay system just aren’t as good as the first one. Almost all the quests are fetch quests, with many deliberately wasting the player’s time. This sequel is a huge disappointment.

I was a huge fan of the first game, not enjoying this one. Like the first game, it features all sorts of eccentric characters. But unlike the first game, those characters are flat. Not much use in being weird if you're also gonna be boring.

The graphics are better than version 1, but not that great. The game is still the same as version 1, it gets boring after a while, but the interaction with the characters and the game is satisfying and leaves the player free.

Pros: Storywise it was a good conclusion of the story of Francis York Morgan. A lot of fun twists Voiceacting of almost every character was genuinely very very good Cons: just why is it that to have good performance and graphics quality and mouse and keyboard support I had to install a mod? Without that it's not fun to play this port For reference it's this one: github dot com/SuiMachine/Deadly-Premonition-2---Sui-s-hack

Such a fun homage to Twin Peaks, second game was totally worth playing, was worried it'd fall flat but they did a really good job. You better be here for the story cause the gameplay still ain't it, but it was way more stable than the first game, so that's a plus.
