Was a very fun game and addicting game at launch, but they removed any & all fun to be found with each update. I have 134 hours into this game and am level 1 on every class because they still reset my levels several times over. Anytime I think "Hey this game was really fun, curious what they added to it" and see that everything is locked, kills any interest I have in playing it. All of my hours into this game are in the first few months of the game coming out, with me putting in less & less time into it with every update until we are here. This game quickly became one of my top played games and just as quick it got dropped.

too low performance, too much buggy and too much identity crisis keep on rework to rework stuff helldivers 2 did a better job at being a starship troopers than starship troopers itself

The core gameplay loop, game mechanics, graphics, gunplay, audio and everything is pretty okay. The only reason I do not recommend this game is due to the lack of polish in every seam of the game. It is not a finished product despite of coming out of early access. The game is very playable and fun if you have a group of people, but the frankly insane number of bugs (the software ones) in every single system within the gameplay makes it a frequently frustrating experience. For example, movement is generally fine. The speed and responsiveness is all good, you feel like you have full control of your character. Until you are running on flat ground and for some unknown reason the collision on the ground bugs out and your character gets stuck on the tiniest elevation change. Or you may be enjoying the most frantic battle with countless arachnids surrounding you, and you are battling them to the last blood. Until you pull out the health stim to heal yourself and magically the stim does not...

They need to fix this game, especially the hard shell modifier causing games to plunge in FPS. Its making me lose patience by having players and bugs teleport around. Literally unplayable

A pretty bare bones game that could actually be a lot more fun to play if it wasn't on the Unreal Engine. It's Starship Troopers so you kinda look past it to enjoy being in the world, but yeah, the engine just makes it feel extra sloppy.

It WAS a great game, but the dev keep making stupid decisions and odd changes that no-one is asking for, meanwhile they think those are cool and what the community wants. Quite Ignorance. Bugs are always around the corner to haunt you (pun intended), Optimisation just never get there, sorry for comparing this to SQUAD's modded Starship Troopers, but a mod of other game is running even smoother than this one. Once a while, I come back to check if the game is making a good turn and leading the game to better place, but the dev never fail to disappoint me, they are really good at it. I am still hoping, but that hope is just running out, eventually I might not come back to check in future at all, right before that happen, I am here to write down my thought about this game. Deep down in my heart i really want this game to be good and become a big hit.

- The servers are horrendous, all of Asia and Australia have ONE SERVER - The desynch is abysmal on a good day and downright unplayable half the time - Crashes are infrequent, but playing on high graphics comes with horrible stuttering and Powerpoint Framerate - Animations will break, your weapon will disappear, you will get stuck on bad geometry and shoot invisible walls - The "going down" animation is your character floating through the air like gravity ceased to exist, looks awful - Cosmetics? What cosmetics? You get retextures of bland colors and a pattern for prestiging, lazy - Climbing over terrain is horrible and very clunky, and due to desynch, you get rubberbanded right back - All enemy elites are bullet sponges and the Tanker Bug is basically a God, eats 100 rockets to the face and smiles - No air support, no armor support, no orbital support and the turrets you build are trash BB guns - Ping system barely functions and only up to 100 meters - Bullets cease to exist beyond 20...

This game is so exceptionally buggy. The enemies will desync frequently despite being on a close server, persistent corpses was one exceptionally annoying and horribly thought out "feature" to rediscover. All progress from early access was wiped so that was all wasted time. The game has potential, but with these developers you know it will never reach it.

I like the concept a lot and I feel like it'd be a good alternative to Helldivers when you want to feel like you're playing on a larger scale than just "Move from A to B, shoot along the way." However, the gameplay itself just doesn't feel satisfying enough. Gunplay is almost fine, except it feels very lacking in terms of impact. A lot of the times when I'm shooting, I have no clue if my bullets are even hitting or if I'm actually hurting what I'm shooting. Lack of communication in the game is also a problem. Sure, communication was never mandatory in COOP games and I understand that completely, but this one in particular does feel like it needs a level of communication that's just never there if you're matching on your own to squad up with randoms. Optimization is.. fine. Stutters here and there and FPS tanks based on what's going on around you, but it's manageable. Personally I wouldn't get the game in it's current state unless it's on half the price and I'd still feel a little re...
