About This Game
The latest from veteran developer Con Artist Games, creators of The Last Stand series of games, The Last Stand: Aftermath is an all new, premium singleplayer standalone action adventure rogue-lite. Choose a survivor to set forth and explore the ruins of civilization, finding fuel to travel to new locations and gathering supplies to craft weapons and more.
It's Dangerous Out There
You'll need to stay on your toes, since hordes of zombies still roam the streets, and you're no superhuman. In fact, you're one of the infected yourself, and eventually you'll die, be it from the hostile undead or the virus rampaging through your body. But when that happens, you'll pick up the game again as a new survivor, with perks and upgrades earned based on your progress from the last, and set out to try again.- Sneak and fight your way through a dangerous post-apocalyptic wasteland
- Outwit hordes of rabid infected, some with deadly special abilities
- Scavenge for materials to craft into weapons and supplies
- Risk undeath by using powerful mutations to make yourself stronger
- When one survivor dies, start up again as another, with new unlocks based on progress
- A tense and moody, atmospheric zombie experience

Really enjoyable zombie rouge-lite. Some really great yet simple mechanics to grasp. The combat feels good and killing thousands of zombies across many runs never gets dull. Highly recommend for those who like both zombies and rouge-lites. I just completed my first run. I fully anticipate achievement completing this game! A few things that I would have loved to see further developed: - Being able to upgrade the vehicle. Things like increasing the maximum amount of gas it can hold, and a transportable mini storage, etc. - A survival game mode, one location with the ability to upgrade the base you're defending. - A prestige mechanic to reset a skill tree once everything is purchased and it giving a permanent boost to the player's stats.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GAMING, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WITHOUT WATCHING ANY GAMEPLAYS FIRST. I DID THE MISTAKE IN BUYING THE GAME CAUSE OF THE TITLE AND THE PRIOR GAMES I PLAYED AND ASSUMED IT WAS GOING TO BE GOOD....ITS NOT, SADLY THE ZOMBIES ARE WAAAAAAY TO HARD TO PLAY SOLO IN CAMPAIGN. HOW DO YOU ONLY HAVE 3 CHARACTERS AND OF WHICH ARE MAINLY THE SAME SKILLS AND PRESET LOAD OUTS EVERY TIME THAT YOU DIE? ONE WEAPON, ONE FOOD ITEM AND A SPECIAL WEAPON? THATS IT? IM ALL FOR LOOTING STUFF FOR SURVIVAL BUT U BASICALLY GO THROUGH ONE CHARACTER PER AREA BEFORE EITHER DYING, GETTING INFECTED OR RUNNING OUT OF AMMO. SAD TO SAY, ONE OF THE WORST ZOMBIES GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED.
I had fun with the game, the mechanics and gameplay were pretty fun. The story though didnt have much to it and was pretty easy to know what was up from the get go.
I'd kill for a game like this but Co-op. Perfectionnnnnn
Game is fun but you probably won't end up playing through it more than once. I'd say if you wait for a sale then it's worth it.
RIP STELLA AND MARTIN, SEBASTIAN WAS AN IDIOT FOR TAKING THE WRONG ROAD
this game totally almost same project zomboid but different, the gameplay is about where the zombie exist in the first place and you job to solve it, graphic is top notch and game mechanic quite challenging how far you go it's gonna be super hard and even you well-equip you still die anyways because there a lot special infection like left 4 dead that cause you trouble
Decent little game to play for a couple hours. I would recommend getting it on sale like I did for like $4.99. Mainly bought to support indie game dev.
i was glad when I heard that Con Artist Games was making a new addition to the Last Stand games. The old games were part of my childhood and helped me slowly build up my love for zombie-themed games. The controls/mechanics are easy to pick up on. It's pretty straightforward. The crafting is easy as well. It gets hard at times but not rage-inducing. I do like the roguelite aspect of it which adds to it's replayability. On top of that, the game looks really good and such a huge upgrade from it's Flash Games ancestor.
