I was rather expecting a sequel, not a prequel, but either way it gives a good insight to the lore of this series. 10/10

One of the best Life is Strange games, partly due to the excellent soundtrack and music.

Personally, I think that ''Before the Storm'' is a little better than ''LiS'', OBVIOUSLY because Chloe is the best girl (no discussion) and story is not as supernatural as in ''LiS''. Unlike LiS(R), BS(R) has no technical issues.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a really good game, but the remaster has glitches like characters talking with no audio. It's rare to see glitches, but they can still ruin the experience. So, to be fair, just buy the original version, since the OG feels better. And if you’ve already played the game, well, the nostalgia really hits hard with this one

Well its still a good game, but the remaster is not much of an upgrade, and in many was I like the look of the old one better. It feels like its lost between a real upgrade and the old lo-fi vibes.

Really short game with a refreshing story. I recommend playing Life is Strange: Before the Storm before the Life is Strange in order to get hooked with the LiS formula without dying of cringe. Minor visual and audio bugs do plague this game, though, which is a major drawback.

I think the story is hindered by its length and not being as good as LIS 1, but its still great, I would say play it first, before the first game except for the last "bonus episode". I remember the first affecting me, and within new experinces of my life, the story was re-contextualised. And playing that bonus episode, was by far the best part of the game. it made me cry, the hardest, ive ever cried to a video game.

I'm not sure how this remaster made it to public release. The lack of quality control is horrendous. So many instances of broken subtitles and audio, which can really take you out of the most important moments. Had too many times where I needed to restart the game and the other remastered LiS to get back to where I was. Also, some character models are arguably worse than in the original BTS. Would heavily not recommend if you can avoid it, especially if you already own the Original BTS. It is not worth the money for the downgrade.

I've only played the first episode so far but holy shit was it insane. The soundtrack is so good and so is the storyline. If you loved the first life is strange you'll enjoy this prequel!
