This game says it's fast-paced, but it is not. It would be fun if it weren't for a few missing details. Given the concept, I don't understand why enemies don't mix up their moves in any way. They don't have patterns except "attack" which is the same attack every time, easy to dodge. Even worse, they all stand still. Not much opportunity for gameplay without enemies deciding to move.

I was uncertain about this game at first but it grows on you. :) Nice mix of "boxing fighter" and indie platformer.

Very good and beautiful game! The jogability is fluid and the ambientation is really nice! It is a difficult game (at least for me) but in a challenging way. Anyway, you can switch to an easier difficulty level if you want, which helps when you are stuck into a part of the game but want to move forward. I recomend!

Very good game! But don't expect an easy game. Really. It was very interesting and challenging the dodge moves with the enemy's patterns. The gameplay evolves a lot and gets a lot more exciting as you unlock moves and combos. I definitely recommend it.

Good platformer/fighting game however if you're going for all the achievements this game is INCREDIBLY difficult.

[h1]A brawling 2D platformer[/h1] Sensen brothers' first game on Steam is different from their later stuff but still has a quirk up its sleeve. In [i]Smashing Spirits[/i] you play as an indigenous woman warrior who punches everyone: soldiers; jedi indians; archers; forest animals; even bushes and boxes. Everyone gets the punch. [h1]Fight through the world[/h1] Quirk is that you can do quick dodges sideways and rack up a combo when beating foes up, turning up damage if you don't get hit yourself. This takes a bit getting used up. You can keep the combo going by crouching and getting up every few punches, and with higher combos you deal more damage. There's also a strong punch for those finishing blows. Levels are forests and caves, with boss levels at the end of each section, and true to platforming they occur in multiple floors all with spear traps and moving platforms. They are relatively long, with branching parts where you can find secrets, like permanent health bonus or poor ...

Played as a person of colour. Used watermelons as health pickups. 11/10

Honestly, I've been playing this game since a few days after first release and I really enjoyed it. It's so pretty and nice to play, soundtrack is really good too! Only problem I got with this game is no air dashes but thats okay. Such a fantastic game! Tip: learn the patterns! If you don't wanna be crushed, then you need to know when to dodge the enemy's attacks ;)

This game is amazing. Lightweight and fast, it allows a challenging gameplay. It features scenery and engaging sound, which stimulates the game’s advancement. I loved the effects of punches and agility. The most interesting is the difficulty, for me it is in an ideal level for a real challenge.
