About This Game
One fateful night a young girl gets in an accident, separating her shadow from her body. Lost and scared, her shadow gathers the courage to search for her lost human across the familiar, but different city.
Find Me takes you on a curious journey through the city streets and into a dark, dreamlike world. Dodge broken lights, creep along walls and ceilings, hack circuit boards, and pick up mysterious photographs of what looks like to be you as a human.
Are you really just a lost shadow? Or is there more to the story...play the game to find out!
About the Development Team
Find Me was created by Team Invenio, a group of middle to high school girls at the 2017 Girls Make Games Summer Camp in San Francisco, CA. The game won the Grand Prize at GMG’s Demo Day competition in 2017, and went on to raise over $29K on Kickstarter.

About Girls Make Games
Girls Make Games is a series of international summer camps and workshops designed to inspire the next generation of designers, creators, and engineers.
GMG’s flagship video game summer camp teaches girls ages 8-18 how to design and code their own games. The camps culminate in Demo Day, a national competition where the top teams from around the country pitch their games to industry professionals. The Grand Prize winning team receives extended mentorship and the opportunity to have their game professionally produced and published.

Great effort on this game!
This game has set itself up to immediately be a favorite of mine. As a guy who dreams of having an indie game of my own and have one in development, I can say this feels gratifying. Although this is a somewhat basic game mechanically, Team Invenio uses a tool that all can relate to. Nostalgia and deep childhood memories come together to make a great reminder that not all games need to be big. not all games need to be fancy. This is an equivalent to a small town in game form, and it makes me incredibly happy to know this is from the minds that may become game devs fulltime in the future. I'd be sad to never hear from the youths that made this, because this game changed my views as a gamer. It makes me appreciate the small things, and that is something we all need reminded of time after time.
a small, lovely platformer. introduces new mechanics at an effective pace within levels that are simple to read yet offer multiple routes to progression. puzzles are nontrivial, but quite forgiving. animation is smooth and uncluttered. this is not a long game (i am unskilled at platformers, and was able to beat it in an hour), nor a fiendishly challenging platformer, nor does it have an extensive or intricate plot. its ambitions are more modest: to craft a tidy, unique little game. and at that it has succeeded mightily.
Gameplay was super fun, not a super long game but still a lovely little gem, and was well worth the price. You can feel the love and thought that has gone into this. I really love the art style, that was what made me check out this game in the first place. Short and sweet, love it!
