Very fun. The developers are very in touch with the players and are updating it to fix bugs so far.They are planing to add more as more players start to join. it is very polished for early release.
A really unique and fun twist on the multiplayer shooter genre, taking the action underwater and giving you full freedom to move in any direction, which (literally) adds a new dimension to the gameplay. The king-of-the-hill style gameplay adds a lot of interesting strategy, allows for different styles of play, and the shooting is tense and satisfying. Also, riding the torpedo around the map is as fun as it gets. Looking forward to seeing lots of cool updates in the near future. Highly recommend.
Tidal Shock is a unique, fun multiplayer game that is great to play with friends! The underwater setting adds an extra layer to the experience, but I did find it challenging to grasp at first. Where are those shots coming from?! I've played a number of matches and I'm still discovering new places in the map. Also, I'm not usually one for skins, but the skins in Tidal Shock are entertaining and I've had fun switching up my character. Looking forward to more updates!
This game is addictive! I find myself wanting to play "just one more round" again and again. I love the array of weapons and the variety of terrain in the arena makes it slightly easier to navigate as you play more. Controlling your character underwater in 360 degrees is a new take that makes this game all the more entertaining and challenging. I'm not great at this game (or any multiplayer shooter for that matter), but I keep coming back for more. Even if I'm not in the lead, I always feel like I'm still in the running. The lead changes often throughout the round and your position in the game can change in a split second with one profitable kill or one strategic drop off at the reactor. Even when not winning games, I like being able to analyse my stats and try to beat my best scores, whether it's more kills, more energy, or trying not to be killed (or blowing myself up). I'm also a sucker for the skins since they're really low cost and make the game even more interesting as you can ...
