Broken garbage: - first, need to install EA app and make a separate EA account -> complete waste of time for a single game - first game start -> game frozen because Windows Firewall Popup in the background, but no way to switch to the popup - second game start -> minutes of non-skipable, meaningless intro, then an error message "controller not configured, please go to settings"...but can't click or select anything in the menu... - third game start -> same result as the second - refund EA is just good at marketing and trailers, but can apparently not produce technical working games anymore...
This is not like the original. The story isn't as captivating. You get to roam around and change cars on the fly. But nothing felt like it was truly mine like in the original. The cop chases are interesting but not as trilling.
Is this a good game? hell yeah! Is this a good sequel to the 2005 original? No Most Wanted 2012 is a fun game. I mainly play the single player. I dislike the amount of content that was unfortunately cut from this game. (no spoilers, just search up the cut content for Most Wanted 2012) The driving is fast paced, and chaotic. hitting the nos at top speed is so satisfying. I admire the amount of cars available to drive. The DLC vehicles have their own unique flair. This games's soundtrack is very good. there's a bunch of songs i love listening to. Overall, if you want a fun racer, with high speed action, awesome city, and car roster, i recommend this game. NOTE: there's no visual customization like the 2005 original.
Listen to the other comments, this is not the game you are thinking of. It lacks every good feature of the 2005 game and replaces it with watered down nothingness. Completely uninspired crap.
The game isn't bad... - There is no currency, you find cars in specific locations and unlock them at no cost. - Each car has its own set of races to unlock performance parts. - The goal is to climb the Most Wanted list by earning Speed Points (SP) then defeating the drivers once you've surpassed their SP. - On the downside, it can start feeling repetitive as there's no real story or characters, only cars. You'll get a decent amount of fun for a while.
After 10 minutes of unskipable yapping I finally got to the open world. Found first car (Pagani) tried to unlock it and it opened Origin shop.
Absolutely awful, after finding hot pursuit and absolute blast this one had all the promise of topping it in every way with the settings the sound track and vibe unfortunately the cars handle like tanks on ice and I couldn't enjoy it in anyway what so ever.
This game is only worth playing for the nostalgia factor, as this game was a pretty big part of my childhood. I don't know if it was just the PC port or if this game really hasn't aged very well, but it has some issues. First, some good things about the game: - Super fast paced and arcade-style racing is really fun and energetic. - The police chases can be enjoyable and the cops REALLY don't hold back, they will slam into you at full speed. - The music is decent, but there's not a big selection of music, so you end up hearing the same batch of songs for the entire game. - The cars are iconic for the time and even include some not-so-popular gems that are fun to drive around in. - Graphics look great, the lighting is pretty impressive and the whole game has a very distinct style to it that I like. And now the bad things that I experienced: First of all, don't even think about playing this on keyboard, it works fine with an xbox one controller. If you decide to use a keyboard, the inpu...
I would recommend picking up any other NFS game. Vehicle handling is bizarre, short solo playtime, and repetitive. Its fine but would suggest spending your money on somethings else. Side note: Steam stated that controllers aren't supported for me but my controller worked fine.
