Need for Speed
(take this review as mixed) Not so good as people praise... it did somethings good the graphic and vibes are great i love them, the fact that you can see your car during the cutscenes is mindblowing. i liked even a little the story it's not cringe as people says it's not perfect but not definitely horrible. but fundamentally this nfs has so many issues: 1. Poor vehicle variety and in general the quantity 2. Horrible handling so poor that a lot of people rely on the unite mod 3. Not so in dept customization older and modern nfs did this better 4. The worst AI i ever witnessed 5. Prestige mode was barely tested very very few races has scores/times that made sense, example manu 3 (wide and tight) it's literally impossible scoring gold without going outside the track. 6. Always online 7. Dogshit servers with super high ping 8. Poor Photomode 9. Dumb AI Police prob the worst in the series 10. story mode too easy there is 0 challenge

Need for Speed (2016) might have looked good at launch, but today it’s easily one of the weakest entries in the franchise. The repetitive gameplay, unrealistic floaty handling, and overall shallow design get boring fast. The always-online DRM is a nightmare even single-player needs a server connection. With dead servers and zero updates, the game feels abandoned. On top of that, the awful EA Origin launcher is full of bugs and crashes. Add in ridiculously long loading screens and endless boring dialogue, and the pacing completely falls apart. The live action cutscenes and awkward characters don’t help either. Even with decent car customization, the lack of content and lifeless world ruin it. ❌ Why it’s bad: Dead servers, no updates Always online DRM even for solo Horrible EA launcher (Origin) Long loading screens & endless dialogues Empty world and player base Unrealistic handling and repetitive gameplay Cringy story and live action cutscenes ⚠️ In 2025, this game is c...
From all the latest NFS's I played, this wins my heart. 10/10 I love it, it's the closest I could get to feel the underground 2 vibes. The graphics and night drives are phenomenal.
Don't get this game. It lacks proper controller support without some use of third party software, and even then it's a crap shoot. Controls don't feel responsive, AI catches up magically, and the always online requirement for the single player is nonsense. Also, forcing the EA service/app to run is an annoyance as well. This is one of those games that online should be an option. Stop Killing Games.
Impossible to use controller with this game. The car doesn't shift right and to top it all off, the keyboard controls are the worst I've ever seen. A shame, the game looks incredible but "plays" (it doesn't play, it's unplayable) like trash. I've bought it at a 90% discount and I'm still refunding.
one of the worst ports ive ever had the displeasure to play. i NEVER post reviews unless im happy. but this game is near unplayable with Xbox one controller. and the ENDLESS input errors and issues with the game. trying with two separate controllers. with keyboard and mouse and wired and wireless. its so sad. considering this was my favorite NFS that i platinum'd on PS4 : (. please fix the input issues and xbox one controller compatibility.
This game is broken. Input setting are broken and require to search for fixed user config in internet just to be able to drive car. Rendering is broken, graphics is beautiful but rendered in half of resolution for some reason. Non-disabling film grain. Spent 2 hours trying to configure this game, and gave up. Disappointed!
One of the most underrated NFS games... Enjoyed it thoroughly. Controls can be a bit janky sometimes and story is not so memorable but customization is satisfying. Racing is good too. One of the drawbacks is it requires always an online connection to play. But Overall a very fun game and an underrated one.
Whatever other people say this game is good, really good indeed. I can go and say it was better than most of the other titles except Most Wanted ofc.
NO controllers dont work YES you have to deal with EA everything, jumping through hoops logging in to 15 accounts just to launch the game NO it is not worth it for even 80% off
