The zombies look too derpy for me to take this seriously. This is the first time this has happened to me
Absurdly clunky and only further proves that PC gamers will consume the most asset-flipped slop infested games ever made so long as you put zombies and or survival into it lol. With that said, this game has some cool ideas, just none of them are at all executed well. No flame at all to the developer. My review is harsh but that harshness goes more so to the "Very Positive" rating this game has, so I am intending on directing this towards the people who recommended this game lol. I was baited into buying it and will refund it ASAP. Also I get this weird stutter that happens occasionally, especially when something new happens. Just miserable lol to play. I love swinging a bat into a zombies head and the game stopping for three seconds on a high end PC.
I first saw this game with version 12.0 and I fell in love 6 Months ago I bought a PC and bought this game I love it!
Scratches such a specific itch I've had for years. A little rough around the edges in some places, but the passion behind this game absolutely shows. The customisation is fun, and while I think the difficulty in some places may be a bit scuffed, that may simply be a skill issue. (There is also difficulty settings, although I do wish there were more options than 100% or 0% in the zombies section) I was expecting a sort of open world vibe, and while there is lots to explore, the rail only really goes in one direction. I'd love to see an area where you have to go through multiple different places on your train, similar to the fetch quests in the last area but on a larger scale. While I do enjoy the "get off train > go explore > bring stuff back to train > go to next area" formula, I think it'd be nice to mix it up a bit. It'd also make the defensive items for the train a bit more useful, if you have to drive through hoards or something. I don't know if there are plans to make more carr...
Very entertaining and has been a great game to help me learn computer gaming at my own pace.
Great concept. OK Game mechanics but need improvement. Needs balancing. Still in EA, so expect bugs and jank. 7/10 overall
haven't had this much fun with a game in forever
Its a very unique concept for a game and I really enjoyed it. Storage and Building: I do wish there were more storage options and decorations since the caboose with chairs make the already small space of the train feel smaller and the cabinets dont hold that much. As my favorite genre is survival craft this really doesnt have much craft part in the style of building your own train. Tutorial: Theres no tutorial other than the character briefly mentioning what you need to progress and there were so many things I had to figure out through youtube and didnt realize you can break down objects until the underground tunnels. Materials: Its pretty hard to get the materials you need to build and craft even with upping the chance of finding materials in containers. Zombies: Although I do find the zombies more goofy than realistic they are unique compared to most zombie games ive played. But I also feel like some of them ive seen too much in zombie type games (Bloated zombie that explodes,...
Absolutely one of the best gems I've seen on Steam, the developer is active and it's obvious that they love their game, the game in it's current state is already pretty fun and the future is promising, absolute peak.
