This is quite possibly the worst MMORPG I have ever played. It's even worse than pre-alphas I've played. The world is pretty much empty. You spend an hour running around looking for anything to do. I grabbed a quest to kill 30 skeletons. I saw that I had 1.5 hours to do it, which seemed nuts. Figured the skeletons were tough or something. Nope, it was so long because good luck finding a skeleton. So... I ran outside to start my skeleton slaying adventure and right out of the gate was a level 120 ice dragon. I ran on.. more 120 ice dragons... in fact, ice dragons were by far the most common enemy. I continued to run all over the map finding a skeleton here and a skeleton there... with maybe 15 seconds left I managed to clear the quest. That's right, 30 monsters killed in 1.5 hours. These monsters are 1-shotted and the fights are almost instant. This means I spent around 30-40 seconds fighting in 1.5 hours. The rest of the time was running around an almost completely empty world. To ma...
As an old school mmo fan of games like Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot, I really like this game despite the very rough edges. The game offers what looks to be a big map with lots of towns and villages and tons of monsters to fight. Here's my most recent experience in Ultimo Reino 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jvKaIwjUBs You got crafting, everything from potions to armor and weapons, and cooking too! You a market and if you find a town with a banker, just stand next to him and press the M key to sell your loot or buy from other players. Items you cook or craft will also display your Steam name on the item for others to see, such as "Crafted by Zaxtor99" which i think is cool! There's a LOT of spells and skills to learn and grind up, and it will take forever to max these out too as you only get one spending point every time you level up and you can raise one skill 1 point. Most skills such as the fireball can be raised to 100! Some skills like taming can be raised to ...
Old Everquest style MMO!!! No locked targeting! Yes its buggy around meshes but definitely playable! If you are an old school gamer this is sorta like UO meets EQ1 (first release EQ with open PvP etc.) +1 recommend!!!
Combat system is absolutely horrible and buggy. Movement is buggy and you get stuck easily moving on uneven terrain. UI cannot be resized. Chat cannot be resized. Game has absolutely no direction except to grind. Quests are useless and boring. The entire game is an endless grind to nothingness. Towns are plagued with monsters that even the guards ingame cannot kill, and god forbid you accidently cast a spell on a low level monster whos next to a level 100000 monsters in a town and you pull aggro and die over and over and over. Spawn in the middle of nowhere and die the same way again. 3/10 -Spell system is unique. -I like the taming system. -unlimited leveling if it had purpose to support a pretty good spell system.
I didn't know what to think at first. I disliked it, it wasn't explaining things; but a few minutes spent roaming and a few spent doing what I learned how to do and eventually everything began to click. The game's very open ended. Hope more will pick it up. Large roleplayability. While not very Class-oriented, you can see the general set up. Here's to this game continuing.
Updated Review: The game does work. The game seems better optimized than Boundel. The primary issue remaining is the seeming lack of content. There's a large world, developed towns but not much in the way of quests or storylines. Also, the game is quite brutal starting off. Previous Review: This is Boundel with a few changes and no server-side files included in the release. There are also no servers or singleplayer, so it's impossible to play without a copy of Boundel and some tweaking. Abandonware still being sold on the store despite being unplayable. I hope the developer is doing okay, but it's still unacceptable to continue selling a game that is literally unplayable. https://youtu.be/e7eVMMMlPS0 SCORE: 0.1/5.0 - It has game files, so it gets the 0.1. Boundel scored a 2/5 when I covered it previously. I host a server (eggsoffice.auncollective.org:8002) for anyone to join if you want to play Boundel. This game has an old school feel to it, which i enjoy. It is rough around the edges and wonky as hell sometimes, but it has grown on me. Things to consider: The game has a great teleportation system and fairly simple combat The terrain is plagued with glitching on rocks and slightly steep hills which cannot be traversed at all. adding to this frustration is the fact that there is NO JUMP button. There is a neat looking rock arch on the map (somewhere, no idea where the hell i am ever) which cannot be walked under (even though it is 15-20 feet tall) because this glitching happens as if its a wall There is no button remapping There is no first person view Cannot resize the chat box or UI, also the chat box does not scroll up fast enough to reread convos Timed quest with no direction, area, or idea of where the targets even are ( NO MAP WHAT-SO-EVER) There is no XP granted for harvesting resources
Español: No puedo jugarlo todavĂa. Como a muchas otras personas siempre me da error de conexiĂłn. English: I can't play it yet. Like many other people I always get a connection error.
