A good game with an interesting world and lore. The plot is also not bad, but it not with wow effect. The actions of the heroes in some moments are extremely absurd. The selecting wheel for weapons, throwing objects and medkits is the most inconvenient thing i have ever met. Otherwise, the game showed itself well and I hope the second part will someday be given the green light.

Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.

User Reviews
This game is the reason I don't listen to critic reviews anymore. This game looks awesome and the world is fun to explore with a ton of content, the guns feel powerful, the Zombie(freaks) hordes are intimidating/challenging, and the motorcycle is satisfying to ride around and listen to. Iv sunk in 117 hours at this point and I'm still not done with the story. Days gone did not get the recognition it deserved. There are a few small bugs here and there but nothing game breaking or that couldn't be fixed with reloading a last save or rebooting the game. This game has without a doubt exceeded my expectations in multiple ways.
This game runs great on SteamDeck and looks stunning. Those eerie forests and abandoned towns make game atmosphere immersive. Feels like I'm in TwD verse being Daryl fighting those zombie hordes, planning and choosing best routes to take them down never gets old. Especially those random encounters with Rippers, feels awesome cleaning them pack by pack. Another shoutout for developers, bringing such a good main story, it hit us all the right notes: friendship, love, loss, betrayal, etc. its all there! Haven't tried this on PC, but still highly recommend for those folks who enjoy open world survival.
Days Gone delivers a gripping mix of survival, exploration, and story. The Oregon wilderness feels alive, the bike is your lifeline, and the hordes are genuinely terrifying. It’s not just about fighting to live, but finding hope in a broken world. A must-play for fans of open-world adventures.
Definitely a game worth playing. The story is well written for the main character, there is customization of the bike, guns, skills, which significantly affects the gameplay in the end. Although it is clear that the second part of the game was made in a hurry, but as a whole product it is a solid 9/10. Highly recommended.
story and gameplay get better as game progresses. Great open world zombie game, but dont expect the last of us level story
I am really enjoying this game, I think it is a masterpiece, it is challenging, has great visuals, has good story and I usually do not care about the story, and it does not have many annoying bugs. Game design of this game is really good (saying as a game designer). Thank you for this game!
Tried a mod that adds new weapons, vehicles, and even extra story missions. The game feels way more alive now — honestly thought I was done with it, but this brought me back. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199834283338/
I'd say this game is a good 7/10, the story is amazing in my opinion. The gameplay is kinda meh, I mean it's good but coming to this game right after RDR2... yeah... I loved riding the bike and upgrading it, so there's that. I mean not much to say other than it's pretty good and worth your time.
Days Gone 1 was amazing and definitely deserves a sequel. Don’t lose hope, maybe Days Gone 2 will get even higher ratings. The story mode was truly a masterpiece, but the rest of the game felt a bit repetitive and boring. Overall, it was still a really good game. Thanks a lot
