Online only ruins this game for me. I cant even play the game right now. Login failed login failed login failed login failed......... I verified files uninstalled reinstall restarted pc went to bed turned 30 years old woke up had a kid ive tried everything and i cant play the game... dont even bother

TDUSC plays like what living in a heavily gentrified city looks, feels, and costs. My grandfather dying of dementia had more soul than this game does. TDUSC feels like corporate, gentrified slop sold as "high life" lifestyle vs TDU2's more laid back "yeah, I just like to compete and own cars" without this glossy, rich-people fuck all attitude TDUSC slaps onto its image. Everything looks expensive but feels cheap. TDUSC has "class", but like a rich people going to Target kind of class. None of the charm of TDU2 exists in Solar Crown. It feels nowhere near as casual as TDU2. It doesn't feel like you're on a little personal journey to collect racing licenses and find out what different kind of races exist with different kinds of cars. Everything is all handed to you all at once and you're just expected to fuck around and compete for brownie points for team Edward and Jacob like it's 2009 all over again. Performance is not good, not optimised properly. Game is missing lots from it old games TDU and TDU2. Its not what was supposed to be expected

I've pre-ordered the game on August 2024 and I've been playing it since its early release for Gold Edition owners. Here is what I think after playing the game for close to 12 months now (340 hours amassed at the time of writing this review): - The game has had a HORRIBLE start, especially during the Early release week for Gold edition pre-orderers, but thankfully, the devs acknowledged this and tried their best to fix the most critical items/bugs all while offering a compensation in the form of a free car + free solar passes for 3 consecutive seasons. - Since then, the game has been getting incremental updates and enhancements, which I appreciate. The game is yet to be 'perfected' during Year 2 as it has been pinpointed by the Community Managers (new game modes, better economy, better graphics, houses, cars and Ibiza map expansions, etc.), we will see how that goes. - Graphical optimization still has a long way to go.
