A visual novel about a beautiful Elven girl dreaming of leaving her family’s inn and seeing what the world has to offer her. I will point out that I think this game is not great or bad, my opinion is more neutral. However Steam wants a yes or no so I do recommend this game but why is more based on my own preferences so read on dear readers.
The good
The artwork is the highlight of this game for me. I adore elves and the fantasy setting was a factor too for me but the artwork is so well done and even the love scenes are handled with grace and not overly graphic or tasteless. There are two art styles in this game however, the “cut scenes” I will call them look very rough, and sketchy as opposed to finished painted pieces. At first I did not think they fit, they stood out so much in comparison to the polished, vibrant art that makes up most of the game. However I ended up really liking them. Like the artist is “capturing” a sudden moment as opposed to a composed...

About the Game
Your Story is a visual novel set on a secluded fantasy island. As Lia, a teenage half-elf, you’ve spent all your life with family, running a crossroads inn. With major events to happen and unexpected guests visiting the tavern your life will change in this wholesome growing of age adventure.Main game features:
More than a visual novelWith a unique blend of a visual novel and point’n’click exploration Your Story allows you to approach different story arcs in any order, leading to multiple conclusions of… your story (no pun intended).
Growing of age from a unique perspective
Lia is the main protagonist, but as the player you don’t take direct control over her. You are her inner voice, who has to convince the sometimes angsty, sometimes cheerful, sometimes depressed teenager to the desired course of action
Not only your story
It’s not only a tale about you. You will meet various characters, with whom you will build relationships and discover their secrets. The island is full of mystery and everyone you encounter has something to hide. But the grand secret lies beyond the shore, as nobody knows what happens across the sea.
See, hear, live…
The gorgeous hand-drawn artstyle lets you sink deep into the wholesome world of Lia, the inn’s guests and the whole island. Mixed with comic book style panels the story hits all your senses with a cozy soundtrack, which accompanies Lia’s life.

The game is really drawn out and slow. Not my cup of tea.
Fenomenalna gra, dobra pozycja jako entry point do świata light novelek jeżeli wcześniej nie miało się z nimi styczności. Cute artstyle, polecam bardzo
Lia, a young girl living and working at a family tavern, is feeling her life with overprotective parents is dull. Now it's your turn to help Lia achieve her dreams!
I liked...

The presentation (I loved the subtle character expressions, effective use of 2 different artstyles)
The choose-your-own-adventure feel (the game contains many choices and even exploration/puzzle elements; it feels closer to a pen-and-paper RPG session than to reading a book)

I didn't care for...

The cliffhanger (I don't think it's a bad idea per se, but I'm not convinced it's a good idea to pull off at the 11th hour of your first game, either)

Verdict
Near the beginning of Your Story, Lia is asked to deliver a parcel to the village's blacksmith. Picking up the box with your mouse doesn't transport it into off-screen inventory, however—Lia starts carrying it around under her arm. When you then go visit her friend Raven, she comments on ...
This VN is too otome and too mundane for me to find it interesting. It bored me in its fist two thirds full of never-ending pointless or "freely-pick-your-yawn-lover" dialogues so much I just quick-clicked the remaining rest. At the end there was finally some "action" but it was so short it was not even worthy for me to try to at least reread its point. :-P Also, the otherwise nice graphics is at the most critical moments replaced by one which I did not find pleasing or at least artistically interesting. Rather just - cheap and ugly. And I have the suspicion the authors felt the same as it is not once shown in promo screenshots. If you seek a usual otome VN full of banal chit-chat you might like this. If you seek some really intriguing story with strong female protagonist, look somewhere else. This is not that.
The visual style caught my eye and I got quite immersed in the plot after playing for a while. The music and whole climate is really on point, so I can definitelly recommend checking it out!
I highly recommend this game to any gamer looking for a fantastic experience. The gameplay is incredibly engaging and the story is truly captivating. It's one of the best games I've played in a long time and I can't wait to see what's next. A must-play for anyone looking for a great game.
Simply saying, the game is blatantly satysfying. Not to mention pretty, hand-drawn art, but also the music is calming and immersively providing the feeling of diving down into the story. One can say it's another visual novel, so what's the deal? The deal is, that if you are not a visual novel fan, then you'll find yourself a neat entrance into the world of such genre in this game - throughout the extraordinary approach to the mechanics. And if you are a visual novel fan, then you'll encounter a pequliar, not typical development and solution that could truly surprise you.
Very nice game, a bit short, but without a doubt very nicely and pleasantly written. I am waiting for future patches with more expansion :)
I have to say, this is genuinely one of the strangest but most interesting narrative games that I have played in a long time. Lia is a super endearing main character and one whose happiness I really rooted for... so it felt wonderful to reach good endings with her and crushing to get bad ones (of which, trust me, there are MANY in this game, holy hell). The art is really quite lovely, the sprites are beautiful, some of the backgrounds have a real dreamy beauty, the CGIs are exquisite (with one CGI of Lia singing in particular being extraordinarily gorgeous, as it runs like a movie!), and the story is intriguing and just boils over to this utterly WILD climax. I also loved the gameplay, which gives you questlines you can follow and allow you some really interesting choices to make as you roam around the environment, finding people to talk to and playing little mini-games. It really lead to a lot of fascinating encounters and secrets to find in this world! I'm still not sure how to get ...
