Game is fun, balance is questionable, maps are great. Not recommended because of low player count, you are hard pressed to find a full server. It's a shame, really. I liked this game a lot.

The Problem: Banning a Common Surname EA's moderation has flagged and warned my account for using the name "Putin." This is not a hateful or harassing name; it is a common surname shared by over 10k (Highest density in: Transnistria, that is in between Ukraine and Moldova) people in the world. By automatically censoring a name tied to a political figure, EA is effectively discriminating against a segment of its own player base based on their last name. really wish this game was still active its great when you don't have a incell telling you its not does it have its share of issues yes but what game doesnt overall its fun and a great game remember when i use to play it when it was active and boy was it awsome anyway rip to game that got tossed aside and showed EA the love being put in a game dosent matter and they should just put out slop

Wow. Paid for the game on sale just to play multiplayer. Turns out there’s only one server left, full of max-level sweats admins, and they banned me for being slightly better. I'm disappointed. Anyways, hardline was the game to play it when it was alive, definitely not worth trying now. Press F to pay respects.

Well, this was fun until the game decided to randomly delete my progress. A known glitch apparently. And it's not that fun that I'll sit trough the extremely slow-paced first missions again. If I wasn't three hours in, I'd have gotten a refund.

I absolutely recommend this game! This is one of the better Battlefields made. Too bad it is older and outdated. Just a few players on one or two servers.
