The Battlefield games have been retroactively updated with an invasive kernel-level anticheat that blocks any user that doesn't run windows 11 with secure boot from even running the game. This means that not only am I locked out on my linux OS, I also can't play on Steam Deck, and I can't play on my Windows 10 install either, because I refuse to bend over backwards to enable secure boot on a dual-boot system. I used to love playing the battlefield campaigns, and I thought BFV's greatest feature was its spec-ops-like survival mode. THINGS I COULD TECHNICALLY PLAY OFFLINE, BY MYSELF. There is absolutely NO reason WHATSOEVER to lock people out of these experiences. GUESS WHAT? You can choose NOT to install Battlefield 4's anticheat if you just want to play single player. That's how it SHOULD be. Suddenly patching out the ability to play the game should be goddamn illegal. I know it's "technically" still playable if you buy a brand new windows 11 system, but if you only own a steam deck...
Battlefield™ V
a battlefield that i maybe overhated? i was quite disappointed during the beta and the first years of this game. but now that i'm replaying it i changed my mind, it feels so good to play the movement handling recoil is refined, the audio is incredible you feel the "strenght" of the bullets and explosions (especially inside the tanks) this entry also added few new things that i find interesting building fortifications that can be useful sometimes and the squad leader having some functions based on the squad overall points *wink wink* spamming V2 rockets. also i revaluated lot the snipers too, usually when i think about snipers i have in mind those losers who stay far back in the map standing there the entire game poking your entire team, meanwhile since i had to do the achievements i forced myself to play it and lemme say being a "aggressive" sniper is so fun staying inside the objective or following your team mates you can still play well while not being a di...

Came back to BFV in 2025 and honestly it still feels amazing. Gunplay is smooth, the sound design is insane, and the destruction system makes every fight different. Servers are still alive with lots of players, so finding matches isn’t a problem at all. The War Stories campaign is short but really well made. Each story shows a different side of WWII from Norwegian resistance to African soldiers and even a German tank crew. Not very long, but emotional and worth playing. If you want a WWII shooter with great immersion, this is still one of the best. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑️ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☑️ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh.. ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☑️ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☑️ Teens ☑️...

Really like the Game, but EA App absolutely trash, there is a lot troubles, bugs, etc. We don't need dual launcher for launch the game

The game is great, but EA made it so that you HAVE to use their launcher which RUINS the experience. Their launcher often invalidates end of game scores and/or repeatedly asks you to activate the game via a key code, which is impossible because we bought it on Steam! Despite this Google shows that years of the same issues keep getting ignored by EA as they have abandoned this and BF1.

I like the World War 2 setting. The maps are mostly good and detailed. The matches can get very chaotic and intense in a good way. The graphics are stunning, and the optimization is good. In my opinion, the graphics are better than Battlefield 1. I like the movement, not too fast and not too slow. The weapons feel and sound great. There are many types of weapons and attachments. But there are a lot of cheaters. Fortunately, there are community servers to avoid cheaters. I barely saw cheaters in community servers. The campaign is quite good, but nothing special. Battlefield V is an amazing game. It's still the best Battlefield game I have ever played. SCORE: 9/10

Don't buy this, not even for $3. If you MUST play the multiplayer, I mean whatever. Maybe it's just me, but I need to be immersed when I play video games. There is a trend nowadays where our main characters are always complete losers. The stories make no sense at all. You're usually BOMBARDED with long stretches of dialogue or cut scene to try and explain so much nonsense to you in short amounts of time. THIS IS WORLD WAR 2. The information for which is everywhere. I have two books sitting next to me know about the war, and nowhere in them does it say anything about custom gun sights, or 4 tire APC's killing Panzers, let alone Tigers. Just annoying that as we graduate to more realistic graphics and engines, we get further from reality. The great things they could do with this stuff, and they, (not just DICE) are releasing hot piles of just garbage onto the world, and this thing commanded a pretty penny back in the day, I'd be beyond mad about paying $60+ for this. I already clawed ...

Battlefield V continues the “War Stories” format introduced in Battlefield 1, shifting the focus to World War II and presenting it through smaller, more personal perspectives rather than massive, all-encompassing battles. Each story explores a different side of the war, often highlighting conflicts or operations that aren’t as widely covered in popular media. It’s a refreshing way to experience the setting, giving voice to narratives that might otherwise be overshadowed by the more famous campaigns of the era. I approached the game purely for its single-player content, skipping multiplayer entirely. Over the course of roughly 10–15 hours, I worked through the campaign at a steady pace, mixing in moments of stealth with the larger firefights. The missions offer enough variation in environment and style to keep the experience engaging, even if the structure remains familiar to anyone who played Battlefield 1. Visually, Battlefield V is on par with its predecessor. The in-game...

I just wanted to enjoy once again a game that i loved back in 2021-2022 on my ps4 pro. Unfortunately i trusted EA enough and thought of them capable of actually letting me play on my pc BUT NO. Game does not want to launch! Im just taken to their GOD-FORSAKEN app and shows me the splash screen with the fucking bitch from the cover filling this little white bar on the bottom but never ever completely finishing it. And yes before somebody suggests to check my system for any errors let me just tell that i have wasted A FUCKING DAY trying to solve this shit. I have even checked for apps that could interfere with EA app and Steam connecting and working with each other that i dont even have. Saw multiple other people with the same problem trying the weirdest sollutions ever known to man and they also dont work! This is not the first time EA just pisses on my face like that (pre-ordered 2042 gold edition on ps4 pro and the rest is history) so my message to you is this: Certainly dont pre ord...
