Warmth is a short and sweet little puzzle game. It took me just under an hour and a half to complete. There are 64 different levels of varying difficulty going from very easy to some head scratchers. The simplistic art is nice and cozy looking, and the music is also nice and relaxing and surprisingly good, it's just a shame that there's but the one track as it does get a bit repetitive after a while. While there are some quality of life improvements to be made, I definitely wouldn't mind playing more levels of this. At €1,59 it's definitely worth the money and I'm hoping this game will be successful enough that we might expect an improved sequel in the near future.
There. Everyone is warm now. Souls had been lit and egos fired up. Let's do this again. Next time.
A charming, relaxing little puzzle game suitable for just about anyone. Warms you up and makes you feel cozy just watching your pets, children, and grandmothers perk up and smile as you provide them with needed light and heat. Also provides the right amount of frustration as you realized--yet again--that EVERY SINGLE GRANDMA needs THREE sources of heat before she'll knit you that sweater she promised. [And honestly, you'll need the sweater because SOMEBODY has to trudge out into the darkness to get more wood for the freaking fires. Just kidding, this game isn't Don't Shiver, heh.] Pros: - cute art - moderately interesting puzzle mechanism - fun for both casual gamers and puzzle fans - Steam achievements and may eventually be cards Cons: - there should be a way to move a fire or torch if you make a mistake - [ADDED after completing all levels] the difficulty level needs a smoother progression from easy to challenging; some levels toward the very end are surprisingly easy [b]Overal...
Nice and short little puzzler (about an hour), where you have to have the right amount of lights around the characters. One big improvement for the logic part of the game would be to place the fires in any places, so you can deduct where to place the fires, because you see what fire you have to set in special places. So for that price I would recommend it.
Doge is cold, keep doge warm. Super cute puzzle game, very simplistic and short but entertaining. There is not that much to be said about this game, I have a weak spot for cute puzzle games so here we are! I like it, might be better for kids since it's on the easy side, that being said if you are like me and you just like to play this little cute puzzle games to just chill and relax then give it a try, just keep in mind that it is REALLY short.
Dude! What a chill, hidden, little gem of a game. Just pick it up. It's a clever puzzle game with a very comfortable and cozy feeling. Seriously, just pick it up.
Short, but sweet little puzzle game. It's not too difficult, it's just the right amount for me at the price. I like the gimmick of keeping cute little puppies warm while slowly introducing new mechanics and the annoying old lady who takes three fires to warm up... I only say she's annoying because she'd always be something that tripped me up on some later puzzles needing more puzzles. Too many old ladies. There's a nice build up of difficulty. It takes a break to give an easier puzzle when it's introducing a new mechanic or trying to teach you something new. I do wish they had put a bit more into the pc port with at least having more hot keys. The only one I could find was being able to unselect something with right click. Everything is done with the mouse, and it would've just been nice to have some keys to quickly undo or select a torch or campfire. And the UI is pretty ugly for pc and shows it's mobile origins. Cute visuals otherwise though. That one song is really obnoxious ho...
Fun medium-sized medium-difficulty puzzle game! I like very much that this game's 80 levels are based on a very simple mechanic: you can light up any hexagon with a torch (once), and you can light a fire on an empty hexagon to light up the 6 hexagons around it; and everything has to be connected. A level consists of goals to meet: where you need to put one, two or 3 lights, and how many torches and fires you have. The difficulty ranges from easy to brain twister (see 79!), but I'd rate most of them as medium, and they're all unlocked from the beginning (that's another thing I like very much). There are about 2 hours of play time here; enough for the cheap price. Recommended.
Unfortunately I found nothing much to like in this game. The graphics looked cute - but that was about it. The music is somehow off the beat or something and just doesn't work. There is not tutorial or explanation to what you are supposed to do so. And when I did work that out the effect just seemed dumb with no real feedback that is present in today's games, no sparkle, no sound - nothing. The dog wags his tail. Umm. There is potential here and a cute idea. There are a lot of other games like this that are fun but it felt like the devs just left the game half done and probably aren't going to add/fix/invest more time in making it better. So no. This is a thumbs down. Pity. Refunded.
