TL;DR - My daughter is 6yrs old and this is her new favorite game for daddy-daughter time. She enjoys unlocking new witches the most. Enabling multiplayer took us a while to figure out. You have to select X/A on a controller before doing so on the keyboard. After that we were both able to play together. Play consists of seeing what items are needed to brew the next potion and finding them hidden among different containers on the screen. For a given game, the items remain in a consistent spot so it becomes a memory game. The most important element of the game is cooperation; there are no individual scores so players are working together to brew each potion with appropriate items in the correct order. It is a race against the clock but sufficient time for a 6yr old to enjoy the session without feeling frustrated.

Cozy little memory/co-operation game that ramps up with difficulty over time, the final couple levels are very hard for two people. Abracadabrew was a fun experience that while short doesn't drag on and left a good impression. Sweet game to play with your partner and make potions together.

This game is ADORABLE. My fiance and I are always looking for fun co-op games. We love Overcooked and Diner Bros. I was thrilled to find a witch themed game like those. The controls are great, and it's very fun and addicting. My only complaint is that the colors are very similar. I get that this is maybe supposed to be a challenge, but the pink and purples are almost the same color which makes it frustrating. GREAT GAME. Get it, this game is so much more fun than the trailer makes it look.

Abracadabrew is a very fun little game ! The point is very simple : you have to find ingredients to brew a series of potions in a very messy room. Quite simple in its core, but, as the amount of potions, ingredients and rules increase, you and your friends must find a strategy to be as efficient as possible. For me, Abracadabrew is much more a game about communication than memory. Finding a way to communicate efficiently with your partner goes a long way into completing the last levels. As you understand, I think it's a game better experienced with friends or SO. The game offers a good sense of progression, and the last levels are quite challenging, especially if you want to unlock all the witches (you need to do a much higher score in that case). The mecanic here is simple, but it works quite nicely, for us at least, to retry most of the levels for getting these cute littles witches. As an "overcooked" fan, I really enjoyed playing this game ! A fun game to play, especially in coop mode : you will need to be quick and have a bit of memory, and also communicate a lot with the other players! Otherwise... it's not a potion you will make, but a poison!
