Really cool experience! This is one of those experiences that I feel like every person in VR needs to experience at least once, it's just a really different way of moving around, the developer did a great job. If I was a bird I would be a dead bird: I had many crash landings, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun to do barrel rolls and backflips in the air. Had me thinking of the flying in SAO (season 2). I tend to be prone to motion sickness, especially when it comes to smooth turning, so I was surprised that I experienced hardly any of it when doing motions that would be extreme by roller coaster standards. I still had to stop after a little while, but I feel like as I get the hang of movement I'll be able to last longer play sessions. It did not make me feel nearly as bad as things like roll in air car or smooth turning make me feel, and I know it's important to stop early if you start feeling some discomfort so you don't get an aversion to an experience. This is of course, at this point, a promise of what will come. The game as it now stands allows you to absolutely destroy your shoulders in under 20 minutes, almost fall over irl several times, feel dizzy, etc. Can't wait to see what this game will bring as it continues to develop. One little thing I wish this had was being able to dive bomb and that dropping your arms didn't make you do backflips as you gently fall. One quick suggestion about the flying mechanics, being able to flap "forward" to slow your speed without rotating your body up or down. As it is, I feel like the index could use a little love, when I fly, it feels like I have to overrotate my arms forward in order to stay level.
Some may want to sit down for this game, I don't have any VR-sickness issues but those that do may find this one a challenge. On a side note - This game is going to give me the shoulders and traps of an olympian athlete. It's a ton of fun, and does a great job with the sensation of flying, but holding your arms straight out to the side gets painful quick!
Fun experience. My arms get tired fast! I had to sit for this one, and get the feeling of 'losing my stomach a lot' which I suppose is motion sickness. Definitely feels like I'm actually flying. These flight mechanics should be incorporated into other games.
9/10 Early Access Review (14 minutes at time of writing) Even with the current build lacking much in real 'gameplay' I would still recommend this for anyone who has looked into finding a good bird flight simulator. Its (relatively) low poly world make it a fast running game, even on my lower end gaming laptop. (which isn't really meant for VR). But even if you are playing on a higher end computer and are all about that *Detail* don't let the low poly-count dissuade you from getting this, as the vibrant colours make it a whole experience on its own. This is by far one of the better if not best VR bird games I have tried. Even at only 14 minutes of gameplay I found it very easy to get a handle of. The weight of your flaps really propel you high into the air, making this a great game for just soaring rather than trying to get a workout. Landing took a pass or two to get the hand of, but even that wasn't too hard after a minute of attempts. There are some minor terrain bugs(as of my play...
Took a while to figure out how to fly.. Kinda fun and rewarding! Really works out your wings and keel muscles definatly have some ideas for improvement. The way the wings ends bend is unrealistic for rolling. Fine adjustments are really hard to do, so aiming for a rabbit can be hard. A feature to walk when on the ground would make the game so much more playable. Launching yourself into the sky trying to eat sucks. The way u can fly backwards and the way u can sorta float. Or fall slowly is janky and unrealistic. And tucking wings should start a dive, not falling like a sponge. Hope bird customisation or a multiplwy3r feature will be added one day. (Plz I want to be an owl)

Im new to the game and love it. My only issue and I'm a pilot who has watched birds in flight my whole life: i think pitch should be HMD controlled as you should fly where you look using your arms for thrust. Also roll should be in the direction of the lower arm so if you want to roll right you should be able to lower your right arm and raise your left arm respectively. This is a more intuitive way to control a bird in VR flight. Look Up- Pitch Up Look Forward- level flight Fold Arms- Dive Arms Above Head- Rapid Descend Just things to consider, the game is awesome so far and it should have a better tutorial to master all the phases of flight. i just want so badly to have it click for me but it's the inputs. we should at least have a few options for control inputs to help immersion.
What better way to celebrate Easter than to cause genocide and be the cause of the heavily decreasing population of rabbits? After spending exclusive time humping a couple of deers, it is clear that they will be next on the list of animals to hunt as a bird. This game has also awoken murderous tendencies inside one of my friends and they don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Overall 14 rabbit kills/10 game would play again.
This is a great game with really good flight mechanics. However, improvements could be made with two abilities. 1. I want to be able to fly up high, then turn around towards the ground to do a dive bomb and be able to pull back to fly really fast through the hoops. 2. catching food is hard in this game. could use better flight mechanics for hunting like being able to fly slower or turn without needing to press a trigger.
