Loved the mechanics of this. Big fan of the piecing clues together/researching mechanic and this scratched the itch. Overall a pretty fun experience. I have some grievances: - Super short (to be fair, this is explicitly mentioned in the game description). It took me 58 minutes to complete, and the ending is very anticlimactic and jarring - No point to the red string. It's cute, but I stopped using it almost immediately as it really doesn't offer any benefit - No way to undo the string that I could find lol, it's permanent once placed - No way to dispose of documents once you've extracted what you need from them. A lot of documents aren't a part of the 'conspiracy' and serve only to point you to the next box. Would be cool if there was a way to trash them So the game has some QOL drawbacks, but overall I liked it. I just wish it was more fleshed out - in its current (permanent) state it feels more like a game jam entry, which I guess it originally was, but that's not necessarily a bad...

About This Game
- Slowly unravel a thrilling historical conspiracy
- Discover new clues through careful archival research
- Assemble your theories using corkboard and twine
- Experience a story of creeping paranoia
How does it work?
The archive is sorted by name, date, and location. Finding new clues requires all three pieces of info (e.g. Frank Nugan, 1980, Australia). Every detail you need to know is hidden in the archive. But you’ll only find them if you know who was involved, when it happened, and where it took place. Average playtime for the game is around 1-2 hours.

A nice little diversion for around 90 minutes. Basically a gameplay loop of looking in archive boxes for documents, documents that provide clues to names and dates, which in turn point you in the direction of other archive boxes. Perhaps best to think of it as a demo for what could have been a much fuller and more in depth game.
This feels like I could have just watched a YouTube video. Unfortunately I may have played this game too late because after playing more recent and better games in this genre, this one is fairly bare bones by comparison.
Cool idea, but leaves you a bit confused in the end. So I uncovered the plot (I think?) but I have no idea if there was more that was essential to understand. Didn't look like there were any plot twists. Would be much better to have a way to verify your guesses at different stages of the unravelling. There might even be: there were a few locked annexes, which I didn't get to before the credits rolled, but there's really no way to know if you're done.
