Watch my video here https://youtu.be/NRi9KhDcY7E Played on the Rift S. Graphically is not bad. It's nothing amazing and nothing rubbish. Audio is OK, but there clearly is no 3D sound or surround sound. Voice acting is very good and very welcome. Gameplay: I found the pointer fixed to a Vive like hand position. Teleport only so for those that like smooth loco you're are out of luck here. Yes it's casting game, however I found myself doing puzzles and the story narrative driving me ever more forwards. The story is very interesting and I would of loved to of completed it to find out if I save the day. I couldn't even get close to completing it because the game kept crashing on me and this isn't any early access game so disappointed couldn't be more true here. Casting is easy enough when you have adjusted for the controller difference and the enemies are not to hard to beat. They might be for you to easy to beat. Best parts of the game is the spoken narrative and story telling. Most di...

i see what the devs were trying to do however the way that this game came across would be said to be quite bland.. The voice acting is something out of a kids play, maybe worse, in a way which you can tell the VA's have the script in front of them and are just reading it like a factual book, no emotion at all. The gameplay is painful and clunky, yes it introduces the spellbook but that is it, no insight about what the spells are nor what they do, it took me an entire 10 mins to work out how to complete the first objective as me, the player, wasn't given any instructions on how to preform the spells nor, again, what the spells do. as a character designer myself, the character designs could be improved as well as the enemies and the overall design. I however did enjoy the architecture of the rooms and how many of the props were interactive. i would play this for more than 15 mins if this were free but, unfortunately its not, and im sorry but its not worth £11. TL;DR: this game is not w...
My first impressions. Got surprisingly motion sick on the main menu, due to the embers floating up giving me the feeling of falling. The king started talking while I was at the other end of the main hall, I teleported closer to here him clearer but he got quieter and became so quiet I couldn't here him. When I could here him it sounded like it was coming from the roof. The ghost chick said something like "shoot me with any spell" but it would only progress if I shot her with the one that does damage. when you make it in to the dining room, its not obvious that you are meant to kill the little ankle biter. (It would be handy for an indicator noise of some sort of animation to make it a bit more obvious that you are suppose to deal with it) Im unaware if the game goes any further then the dining room. (couldn't figure out the painting puzzle) Briefly got stuck in an audio loop from the ghost girl. Throughout my 45 minutes playing I had No crashes and NO frame rate issues. TLDR: T...
Works on index, but has stupid controls and no locomotion. There was no way I could find to transfer spells from the spellbook to my wand. I had to go to the "peace cabinet". But where the fck was that?
