The Convenience Store is a short little indie J-Horror game by Chilla's Art. It is not super spooky or full of action but still not bad. Personally I would give it a 2/10 as its not super spooky or full of action and I just like a litte more thrilling action in a horror game. Yes you could say the horror is that "nothing" really happens but thats not it for me.. for me its just "boring". Why do I still recommend it then ? I still recommend it becasue its still not a bad game it just not my style and there might be people that enjoy the "silence" and the atmosphere.. or might even get jumpscarred/spooked more about some of the "intended jumpscares". For me it only got me a little bit once.. I want a raise

I came looking for an immersive, eerie experience with a heavy atmosphere, and that is just what I found. Even though the turn the story took is not what I expected, I liked it and enjoyed the game very much. Given its short duration and the low price, it's definitely worth a try!

Amazing atmosphere and beautiful retro graphics. Really short game that's perfect for those nights where you wanna sit down and get lil spooked out. Played it with a friend and we had so much fun! Definitely gonna try out some other games from Chilla's Art's brothers!

Atmosphere goes hard while high. However the slow movement was a pain in the ass while doing tasks. Became tedious and frustrating at that point, losing the atmosphere that it built up. No save is lame so you'd have to start from scratch all the time to get different endings. Would be doable if it wasn't for the slow movement. Atmosphere is a 5, but the movement really killed parts of the game for me. And for that reason, I'm out.
