Storm Chasers: Tornado Islands

This game is trying to be too many different games at once. It's not terrible, but I found it annoying.

Fantastic Match 3 game with hidden object scenes, Mahjong, and easy puzzles. The story is barely an excuse for the game play and visuals (which are very pretty) but I wasn't expecting a saga anyway. The music is light and airy, and doesn't get in the way of the game. There are two modes of play- relaxed and timed. Once the main game is over, one can play challenge levels. It is currently on sale for $0.49 and well worth it for some relaxed playing. :) Correction: It was on sale for $0.49. It is back to $6.99... as nice as this game is, I would still wait for a sale.

Very nice game with a variety of hidden object, mahjong and match 3 puzzles. I would like to play more games like this one.

if you think steampunk is cute and want to play match 3 mixed with a little bit of hidden objects, this is for you. The art is beautiful! Some of the tiles were a little too similar to others for my taste but it didn't ruin the game. I played on casual so i wouldn't know anything about how challenging it is. Other than the art it's rather run of the mill, so I recommend getting it on sale.

Basic game, borderline boring. Most of it is Match 3 puzzles, but here and there are a few other minigames, including Mahjong and Hidden Object segments. The Match 3 puzzles are the simplest I've seen. Not much variety when it comes to combos or power-ups, which makes the solving of the puzzles tedious and too time consuming. If achievements were included at least there would be some incentive to go through so many similar and unremarkable levels. I'm not giving the game a negative review because the game works and it cost me pretty much nothing, since it came in a big bundle of games. Would I recommend it? Maybe to young kids and older folks, who can benefit from the slow and not challenging nature of the game. Other than that, there must be better options out there.

It's a great match 3 with some other components like mah johng. It's a great way to waste some time. :)

As far as match 3 games go, it held my attention and was enjoyable. It has a story, a picture/town you build up as you progress, different characters, and random other puzzles thrown in here and there that you can skip if you dislike them. The graphics are simple, but nice (not pixely like some match-3 games). I think it's worth buying.

An impressive match-3 puzzle game, incorporating a host of additional puzzles such as mahjong and hidden objects. The graphics and overall puzzle architecture are exceptionally good. The story line was somewhat shallow and the power-ups limited. Otherwise, would definitely list Storm Chasers: Tornado Islands as one of the better match-3 puzzle games.
