I was enjoying this game right up until I got to a non-skippable part of I needed to stop the truck. The problem with that particular mini-game is that I don't have enough time to avoid the flames, and I just keep getting killed. There must have been at least 2 times where I succeeded in emptying the truck's health bar (at least it looked that way), but where I still died from running into the fire immediately after. I must have tried that mini-game at least 20 times, but just can't do it and now have to quit playing the game. Also, be aware that this game does not have a mini-map, which can make some places hard to find. There is a quest tracking system the in game, but I haven't fully worked out how it works yet, and given that I can't progress past the truck part, there's no point in my trying. EDIT: Thank you to the developer for responding to me. I decided to try it again and actually got it first time! For anyone who may be stuck, the trick is to realise that when the animat...
As a fan of comic books and turn based RPGs, I give this a two thumbs up. :) :) :)
not only can you run through the city at super speed but there's also a cowboy vampire and a stripper named sindii.
This seems like a really fun superhero RPG turn based game and I really like the comic style and everything it had to offer... However... When you get past the opening intro, where the MC (Main Character) gets in with the new Boss and gets his first target: my game no longer works. I tried restarting and resetting and reinstalling it, but nothing... So no fun game for me.
Terrible game. It has a great look but just an awful game. The combat is simple. There is no character building or creating. Everything is prebuild for you. All you do is select the attack to use and there is not really that much meaningful choice. You would be better off reading a comic, you get about the same amount of decision making and choice but you get through the story without the boring game play. If you like any decision making, character building, strategy skip this. If you like auto battle games where you have to select the combat action and move around on a map go ahead a get it. This is a game for simpletons.
As a fan of comic books and super heroes, I am really enjoying the game so far. The story is very entertaining and the art and voice acting are great. Definitely worth the try.
A good first episode for a superhero RPG. I liked that there are a few heroes to choose from and more will be coming in the future chapters. I also enjoyed the comic book style panels used for some of the special events. The only thing which I disliked was the begining, until you reach the city; I think it took a bit too long to end. Overall a good starting point for a RPG, with the second chapter already in works.
Promising but still flawed. Fans of oldschool JRPG combat and the delightfully cheesy superhero flavor we find in American comics will adore this. I've also noticed that the creator is quite interactive with the community. A definite plus. I'll be returning to this game in due time after some more work and expansion took place.
Loved it, until it crashed after the intro. Will try again and maybe give a diferent review later
