This game has promise but is missing the following elements that in my opinion are essential for any football game: 1. NO Play clock 2. NO Game clock (in real time) A user should be able to "snap" the ball to either conserve time or kill time when he wants. 3. 1+2 above = NO TEMPO / NO STRATEGY such as ball control or quick tempo scoring to tire the defense out. 4. NO QB Spike to stop the clock AND NO QB kneel to run the game clock BUT curiously the AI can do this at times. 5. No subs (at least none that I can figure out easily) 6. NO Goaline DEF or OFF 7. NO QB Sneak play 8. NO Fake Punts or FGs 9. bad end to quarters/halfs and games (AI spikes the ball (again I am not sure how) at the wrong time and sometimes the game will give a down (loose one I thnk when the quarter ends, so if its 3rd down and the 1st qtr ends, it sometimes becomes 4th down for no apparent reason). The lack of a running clock is a big deal to me. The game seems too arbitrary determining the time eac...

The game has the makings of a good game but there are a few things that annoyed me a little too much to carry on playing and ultimately stop me from recommending the game. - The playcalls don't always seem to be match up with what the player selects. I had a couple of instances and I thought that I could have clicked on the wrong option, but it happening a few times more made it clear that the game wasn't returning my play selections sometimes. This was a red flag for me. - Spelling errors in the play by play text. It's a small thing but there are errors present. It just comes across as the game being unfinished and rushed out of the door. - The player logic sometimes baffled me. The QB would drop back and stand there waiting for a couple of seconds and see two players rush into his face and he'll do nothing but take the sack. Won't throw the ball away, won't try to evade. Just stands there for a good second or two and take the sack. I don't know if this is a case of the 2D image not s...
I was a huge fan of the NCAA Football franchise, but hardly ever played the actual games. Instead, what attracted me was career mode. I really enjoyed taking a mediocre (or often downright bad) program and slowly building it up into a competitor through targeted recruiting. Draft Day Sports fills the void left for me in that respect when NCAA was discontinued. There are so many options and decisions that can affect the trajectory of your program, including recruiting, coach hiring, and depth chart decisions (good players don't like riding the pine and will transfer) that should keep you busy. One very important warning: "playing" a game is simply playcalling on offense and defense. You recruited these guys, and now you get to see if they execute (or not). No juke moves, no hand eye coordination required. For many, this could be a deal breaker; for me, it wasn't even a consideration.
It's not for everyone let's get that right but this game is as deep as any football game you are going to find on the market. You can do all sorts of stuff with the XML in this game and make it all the real teams as close as you want to. The AI in this game is very smart and is difficult to beat at times. But being able to play football again at a competitive level even with the bugs in the game, its still a lot of fun nonetheless.
Can't adjust the screen ratio, for starters. Overall it's a mess, needs a ton of polish.
Can't recommend this game. Crashes too often, interface is nothing like College basketball or other games it looks like. Career Mode seems to be broken. Going from Commissioner to Career Assn breaks the game. No conference movement? Just a bare bones simulation. Just not worth the money at all.
The game is a pos. So many issues with the game crashing. tedious scouting, training, and just overall BS. I love college football and miss the old games on PlayStation, mostly to recruit and build a college football legacy, but this game just sucks. A shameful product. I wish OOTP would buy them, there is potential, but everything this company releases is trash.
i love it so far but the game wont advance past the regular season into bowl games
Fun but kinda became redundant with NCAA Football coming back into existence
After 80 hours playing the game, I can say that it is absolute garbage because of its fatal flaws. The simming is worse than in EA NCAA Football '14. There is no reason to play this game, since NCAA '14 has animations while this game does not, has better simming, and has better recruiting. Some basic elements of coach simming do not work. For instance, if you are simming your team, your coach will almost never call a time out. Your coach will always kick on 4th and 1 even if you have great running backs and need a touchdown. Your coach will never call for a 2 point conversion, even if it means losing the game. Additionally, recruiting is not realistic for the smaller programs. You can start off as the smallest program in the country and still land 5 star recruits on many years. This is even easier to do than it is in other games that I have played, when it was already a problem. They ignore the reality that many top recruits would rather approach a Power 5 program and do tryouts to b...
