The game always prompts for two factor on start up. This isn't an issue except when booting into VR where it doesn't even allow you to select the box to input the code. Refunded because I wanted to try the VR.

The Terms have changed over time and now I can no longer play this game without providing information i no longer wish to share with EA. this behavior is not acceptable. I just wanted to play the single player and enjoy a space battle. Don't waste your money of EA any longer. their business practices are abhorrent. shame i didn't get to log in more than 3 hours when i first bought this in 2021.
Piece of shit won't launch. EA abandonware.
Problems from the Start, always have to verify my email, can not enter the code in VR, very poor graphics, very poor flight physics. overall not recomended.
What a piece of shit - game will not load at all. Avoid it at all costs. This is why I stopped buying EA games
Game looks fun, the single-player that I did play was pretty alright. When trying to connect to my fellow steam friends for coop fun the game does not recognize the other players and gives a "cross-compatibility issue"... making the game essentially unplayable with your steam friends. Really cool premise but unfortunately not worth your time, a good half of the game is essentially unplayable. Should be removed from steam.
Works well on Steam deck but not DS4 controller on PC, pretty bummed about it.
Awful... have to verify your EA account via email for god knows what reason, the screen is completely unresponsive in VR because of course. So you say: no problem I will verify the code on flat screen and then relaunch in VR. NOPE, verify the code AGAIN please :) REALLY?????? Piss off EA
I was really excited for this one. I had played x-wing and tie fighter and later balance of powers. I wanted a star wars themed dog fighting battle simulator. The controls were awful!! Among the worst I've used for any 'flight/fighter simulator'. I'm a mouse and keyboard guy. They made one of the worst game control experiences I've encountered. It makes the whole game such a terrible experience I simply stopped playing. Very disappointed!!
If you had.a PC and played Xwing on 3.5” disks back in 1992, then TieFighter on CD and then Xwing Vs TieFighter and finally XWAlliance in the mid-90s, this game is an absolute love letter to those classic games! Back is the Energy Management System (“Shunt all Power to Forward Shields!”). This was a $40 USD game on launch so you can’t expect a long Campaign - that only really serves as training for multiplayer. It’s got a decent storyline and some surprisingly effective voice acting. I’m writing this in 2025 so yes, the online player base is not what it was back in 2020 or 2021. But I can’t give it a poor review based on player engagement online. For my money, it’s worth the price of admission just for the campaign, and if you have friends who want to play this, preferably real life friends, you can do some nice battles against AI with them. Not to say you can’t find a game online but it’s a little bit harder these days. join the right discord and you may fi...
