This isn’t just a game. It’s a full-blown co-op movie you get to play — with laughs, tension, chaos, and moments you’ll remember long after the credits roll. I played it with my cousin, and we were hooked from the first minute. We didn’t read guides. We didn’t rush. We just sat down and let the story pull us in. I was Leo — the loudmouth with the BIG nose and bigger attitude. He was calm and careful. I was not. Somehow, it just worked. What made it so great? Everything requires teamwork. You don’t just watch the story unfold — you build it together. The pacing feels like a movie, but the interaction makes it feel personal. It’s simple to play, but packed with emotion and surprises. We laughed at dumb mini-games. We got mad at each other in quick-time fails. We got quiet when the story hit hard. It’s one of the best co-op experiences I’ve ever had — because it’s not about who’s better at the game. It’s about playing it together. Making decision...

What begins as a thrilling breakout quickly turns into an unpredictable, emotional adventure unlike anything seen or played before. A Way Out is an experience that must be played with two players. Each player controls one of the main characters, Leo and Vincent, in a reluctant alliance to break out of prison and gain their freedom.
Features
- CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER- LEO - A hardened inmate with escape in his sights, Leo isn't the type to make friends. No matter the obstacle, Leo is willing to get his hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done. VINCENT - Even though he’s fresh off the prison bus, Vincent is determined to break out. With quick wits and nothing left to lose, he'll prove that he's not to be underestimated by anyone, inside prison or out.
- TOGETHER THEY'LL FIND A WAY OUT - Escaping prison with a complete stranger isn't ideal circumstances, but Leo and Vincent have too much riding on it to second-guess themselves now. As freedom gets closer and closer, they'll have to learn to trust each other if they want to make it to the other side.
- WORK TOGETHER TO BREAK FREE - Use teamwork to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles.
- EXPERIENCE A VARIETY OF GAMEPLAY - Sneak, fight, run, drive, even go for a little fishing along the way.

Revolutionary as far as co-op stories go. Easily one of the best co-op experiences I've had. Story is well written and emotional, the mechanics and puzzles are unique and keep you dependant on your friend. There is no getting through this alone, you and your friend both have a role to play in completing every level which makes for a very memorable experience.
vincent is ontologically evil and deserves to be shot. it felt good to hunt down my gf in the end. the story is epic but the gameplay and minigames in it take 2 is better. it was pretty funny when my gf cried bc i killed her guy tho. (my review) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- honestly i dont think any of them deserve to die, the perfect ending I think it could be leo under arrest then the last scene should be linda and alex come to prison to visit him, vincent get back together with his wife quit his job or keep going and get a promotion then visit leo too, but the ending of the game is more realistic. i hate my bf when he shot my guy vincent and cried a little bit when linda reading the letter (well he lemme take the revenge in the end tho) anyway aside from the game play its a pretty epic story, the scene when my goated bf playing two roles at the same time while riding the bike is pretty impressive, i love being with him playing ga...
Third party launcher. Third party login. Doesn't support Steam Family Sharing.
A Way Out is a co-op only game where you and a friend play as two prisoners trying to break out and survive together. The split-screen gameplay is really cool because both players often do different things at the same time, making it feel very cinematic and engaging. The story isn’t super complex but it’s emotional and keeps you interested, especially if you experience it without spoilers. The gameplay changes often, so it doesn’t get boring, though the mechanics are pretty simple. Visually it’s not the flashiest game, but the storytelling and the way you interact with your friend more than make up for it. Overall, it’s a unique experience best enjoyed with someone else.
1) Using another launcher to launch a game is a bad decision. 2) Borderlerss window that doesn't work is a no-no to me.
Playing this with my friend was so much fun. We loved every second and didn't want it to end. The twist at the end had us in shock and we had to pause for like 30 mins to decide what was the fairest thing to do. Achievements are grand, just some fun interactions and minigames that were nice and easy. Can’t wait to play split fiction
if you get invested in the characters, the ending is a complete waste of time to the relations you made and the characters you grew to care about. my favorite character became my least favorite within the span of 5 minutes, and i wish the game ended after the plane landed instead. :\
A way Out has such a great story with two great characters, Viccent and Leo. The game has a great balance of blending an amazing story and very fun gameplay. 10/10 game, it is a must PLAY
I love this game. I played it with my friend Banananono and we enjoyed it a lot. The endings got me tearing and I truly enjoyed the story and the music. Story wise this game has better story that Split Fiction. I recommend this game to everyone who want to play 2 players game. Truly peak.
