Building a model kit is something I've never done in VR, and actually never thought of. At the current price of 0.79, this is quite something to complain about when looking at the concept of the game. Watch my first gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KipClgG6mxU With a small price we also get a small game, you have some kits that you can put together but the number of parts is very small to call it kits, you will therefore spend much more time painting the parts here, unfortunately you don't have paint brushes here but rather markers, which makes coloring quite unpleasant in VR, but whoever likes building model kits in real life might also like it have the patience to do this in VR. What I find quite surprising is the steam workshop available for Model Kit Simulator VR, I think most people among us can easily imagine that at a workshop like this one can find more realistic kits that are also more complicated to put together but unfortunately there is currently only 1 kit...

This is a GREAT idea for a VR game! Feels like a neat little passion project. Only 4 simple models at time of review, hopefully there's more to come. I'd be willing to pay more for dlc models (maybe of an unnamed mecha piloting variety? ;D ). Game is as basic as it gets but at only $0.99 there's really nothing to stop anyone from trying it out.

Very basic so far. I bought it at 99 cents so I won't be asking for a refund but it is certainly not worth more than that yet. It has a lot of potential though. Pros: -Great concept -Chill environment Cons: -Painting is VERY hard. Often times I would try to paint something but couldn't reach the model as my vive wands would collide before the marker reached the object -No audio as far as I could tell Requested Features: -Filing down the plastic leftovers isn't very immersive currently. Just drag the tool into contact with the nub and it disappears. Maybe explore other more realistic or at least not instant options? -Maybe add directions for more complicated models if they come -More models maybe as DLC, but previews of the DLC in game would be nice so that I can see what I'm buying beforehand. Maybe an item on a shelf that toggles between the piece sheets (To show me complexity, as I'd be dissapointed to buy something I thought was gonna take me some time to put together only to fin...

Great little concept. The painting allows for a bit of detail and the file is a nice touch.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift & Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions review here: https://youtu.be/sjgLsgqsMKQ I bought this on sale for .89 cents. It's so low-priced that I can give an easy recommend. However, be warned, there is nothing smooth or polished about this experience. Everything is super clunky. There are 4 different model kits to choose from. There's also a workshop with 2 additional mini-kits (although one of them is just another car). You can teleport the area of some pre-defined nodal locations. You can also snap turn. I was able to play the game seated. I found all the interactions to be simple and needing lots of polish. Sometimes when I used the clipping tool, it would just automatically knock off the pieces and other times I had to actually press trigger to cut them off, which involved both hands going invisible and losing my grip on the object. There's the file that you only need to touch the nubs from the edges for th...

After 2h of work, dropped modell onto ground. It was teleported out of reach and could not be completed. :/

Although there's not much to do at this stage in development, I think that it's a neat little showcase of what's possible in VR besides intricate physics-based experiences and various rhythm games. I have a few gripes with the game, but they aren't deal killers by any means. Pros: - Neat little time-waster. - Decent amount of models to work on. - Fair price for what it is. Cons: - Painting is a bit difficult and time consuming due to the small tip on the paint pen and inaccuracies in tracking. I think a small brush would be a great addition to the currently available set of tools to make painting larger areas/base colors much easier. Stickers/Decals would also be nice, however I understand that you can make any kind of design you would like with the two paint pens. - Filing could be a bit more in depth than just tapping it against the leftover plastic tails. - A trash can would be useful and more immersive than chucking the empty box and leftover plastic across the room. - The ta...

honestly the most mind numbing thing I've done in VR, and this is coming from someone who will go to VRChat just to stare at myself in a mirror for several hours.
