About This Game

Detroit: Become Human, the award-winning video game production from Quantic Dream, is finally available on Steam! Featuring world-renowned actors including Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Clancy Brown (Carnivale), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Bryan Dechart (True Blood) and Valorie Curry (Twilight).

WHAT MAKES US HUMAN?

Detroit 2038. Technology has evolved to a point where human like androids are everywhere. They speak, move and behave like human beings, but they are only machines serving humans.

Play three distinct androids and see a world at the brink of chaos – perhaps our future - through their eyes. Your very decisions will dramatically alter how the game’s intense, branching narrative plays out.

You will face moral dilemmas and decide who lives or dies. With thousands of choices and dozens of possible endings, how will you affect the future of Detroit and humanity’s destiny?

PLAY YOUR PART IN A GRIPPING NARRATIVE

Enter a world where moral dilemmas and difficult decisions can turn android slaves into world-changing revolutionaries. Discover what it means to be human from the perspective of an outsider – and see the world through the eyes of a machine.

THEIR LIVES, YOUR CHOICES

Shape an ambitious branching narrative, where your decisions not only determine the fate of the three main characters, but that of the entire city of Detroit. How you control Kara, Connor and Markus can mean life or death – and if one of them pays the ultimate price, the story still continues…

COUNTLESS PATHS, COUNTLESS ENDINGS

Every decision you make, no matter how minute, affects the outcome of the story. No playthrough will be exactly the same: replay again and again to discover a totally different conclusion.

FULLY OPTIMIZED FOR PC

Detroit: Become Human is brought to PC with stunning graphics, 4K resolution, 60 fps framerate and full integration of both mouse/keyboard and gamepad controls for the most complete Detroit: Become Human experience to date.

this review is 7 years late- but this is my absolute favorite game of all time. the release of this game jump-started me into buying a ps4 all on my own. being an awkward teenager handing a gamestop employee hundreds of dollars will forever be one of my best memories. the graphics and interactions always leave me wanting more.

a great game that still stands to itself graphically, story and game-play wise. 10/10 - Connor just shouting 90% of his chapters was the best part.

What can I even say about DBH? It made me actually care about some pixel androids on my screen, made me actually tried to not keep them in constant pain and fear (though I didn't really succed lmao). ALSO FUCK COLLECTIVE SHOUT - they tried to remove the game for 'abuse towards women' while missing the entire point of the story (its not cool to harm others even if theyre different). Definitely one of the best stories I've played in a while.

To be honest, I’m just in awe of how much love and effort they put into this game. I’ve never been the story type of person when it comes to games but Detroit got me hooked. It required both mind and heart to make decisions that would ultimately have a butterfly effect on your story's progress. I never thought I’d like a game this much, especially a story type one. I finished the game within 12 hours and I can say that it was worth it. I felt fulfilled that I was finally able to finish a game (finally lol), and even more so because I made it to the end with little to no errors on my first try. I admit, I felt a bit empty when it ended. Although I can always play it again and I'd do it in a heartbeat. I’m looking forward and excited choose a different path this time and let a new story unfold.
Also… I’m still sad I had to let Chloe go. I know it was a choice but who am I to stop her? :(

I was also shocked at how accurate the in-game models loo...

I made one bad decision in Detroit: Become Human under pressure, and now I think about it every night. Kara died, Connor probably hates me, and Markus accidentally started a war. All because I panicked and pressed the wrong button. It’s been weeks. I still feel like I owe them an apology.

Beautiful game. The graphics, story, characters, messages... Just played it after almost 7 years of its release, I really recomend it to everyone who has the opportunity to.

Detroit: Become Human is one of the deepest story-driven experiences I’ve played. The game blends interactive storytelling with a cinematic style that makes you feel like you’re inside a movie — but the difference is, you’re the director. Every decision you make, no matter how small, noticeably changes the course of events, which creates a thrilling kind of psychological pressure as you try to choose the best option in tough situations. The characters are excellently written, each with their own motives and emotions that quickly make you connect with them. The story is full of tense moments and deeply human scenes that make you pause and think before making any choice. What impressed me the most is how the game shows the consequences of your decisions either instantly or even hours later, giving you a strong sense of responsibility. The visuals are excellent, and the voice acting and performances are top-tier, making you truly immersed in the world. There may be a few slower ...

Your choices in this game matters as there are multiple endings. One of the most unique game as you play as three characters trying to figure out what their point in life is. You could choose to stay as a robot/cyborg or "become human". The graphics in this game is absolutely splendid as the almost look real, if you zoom into the characters, you can even see their hair. I would 100% recommend you to play this game as the story can be exciting and emotional.

Just finished my first run. What a fantastic game! Very heavy on the story and light on the gameplay. More like a movie, but you decide how it ends! So emotionally impactful

It was one of the best story games I've played in a long time. specially now in 2025 that AI is getting better and more intelligent day by day, the story feels more relatable than ever. anyone with any opinion that they have about AI and androids etc. can make decisions about their future in this game and finally its a game that your choices really matter and affect the outcome! Not like some other decision-based games that characters will face the same ending no matter what and its only in a silly situation that the character's life and death will be decided! Overall one of my best story game experiences in a long time and I enjoyed it a lot!
