I dont normally review with less than 2 hrs ... but since there are no reviews yet ill put one up. This game shows me everything i want in a building/management game. Great graphics, awesome build style, cool concepts , and a focus on building not necessarily management outside of what you need to generate to continue building. The game plays and feels great, looks great... there is one severe problem however..... There is no Tutorial. Which normally wouldnt matter as most of these follow the same tropes and you can figure it out. NORMALLY. They have done something fantastic with moving away from the tired played out mechanics of similar games... but in so doing make figuring out how the game works pretty brutal. I have figured out how to place houses ( sounds easy right?... ) but not in how to keep them happy , not to mention i feel like they give you just enough resources to get started.... provided you know how to start correctly in the first place. If you make your initial cast...

About This Game
Keep your populace fed and satisfied while expanding your domain. Without them, a ruler has nothing...
First Person and Top Down
Create castles from the top down! You can place structures, rooms, farms and whatever else you need from above. Additionally, you can decorate each room you've created in the first person, giving you the freedom to explore your very own palace!
Extensive Library
You'll have access to an enormous library of assets with their own balanced costs. The more you produce, the more you can create!
Resource Management
You'll be required to grow food, trees, mine stone, smelt metal and collect taxes to construct the various pieces of your castle. Each resource requires adequate storage and space to generate. Balancing this space is the key to creating the ideal domain.
Screenshots
User Reviews
Unplayable. Unfinished game. No user guide. No anything. The screenshots are not indicative of what you can do. I spawned in on the roof with the worst case of mouse inertia I have ever experienced, in permanent Look mode. I was unable to get into the castle or build farms, outbuildings, etc. It is not as advertised. I will be asking for a refund. Buyer beware!
I’m recommending this ONLY because I have been waiting for this kind of game for years and it really does function as a relaxation builder game. Mostly. This game would be fantastic if it was an EA game and the dev was actively working on issues and improvements. The controls are not initially intuitive but you can get used to them after a bit once you figure out how to move and use things. You also can’t load saves or start a new game from the menu. You need click “start a new game” where it will load one of your previous saves (not the current one) and from there, you can start a new game or load an old save. There's little things in the basement left over from some old build I guess. So this game is a little rough around the edges. All that said, if you don't mind that, this is a nice resource management/builder hybrid. You start out with some resources but they do not get you very far. Just a tiny keep and a few small farms. You must balance your resource production, po...
It looks great in the trailer and the screenshots, and I absolutely love the style. But the actual game is a completely unplayable mess, with horrible mechanics and controls and no tutorial or proper instructions. This was the first game I ever returned on Steam.
I feel like the game gets in the way of my creativity. I'm impressed by some elements, like the placement of assets and their quality. But it is lacking a great deal in its user experience, being quite obtuse in its interface and mechanics. On a basic level, it doesn't feel very enjoyable to control. I like the idea, and the price would be very fair. But I had been given the wrong expectations, and I feel burnt out on it already. Without an Early Access label, I don't expect sweeping changes either. I do think there is potential. There is still a lot of work to be done, and I wish the developers all the best, but I hadn't signed up for that journey. The game seems to be feature complete, so I would label it as a Beta.
I think this game has some potential. Desperately needs an in depth tutorial, not the few images that flash on the screen. Also needs a free build mode. Resource management games are fun but sometimes I just want to build.
all I can start with is what a disappointment! The game definitely needs improvement especially in the controls area. Even when you know the key bindings, you need to figure out how to release menu to scroll. Overall the controls are clunky. Also their help section says you get resources by number of buildings and citizens you have. Well I had 4 buildings. With decor in each (which you supposedly need for citizens to move in.) Well the citizens never showed after 5 sleep cycles so I never got anymore resources. Since I got no more resources I couldn't build anything else. Even had the tutorial running on my second attempt. Didn't get much further. The game has promise but needs some major refinement. Providing that the devs are still working with it. current rating 2/10. I will leave comments open to those that got farther than I did. Maybe tell me what I am doing wrong to get additional resources. If I remedy that, I'll try it again, maybe change the rating too. We'll see
For the price asked, I would be happy with a sandbox-style point-and-click game like "Townscaper", with no restrictions and very straight-forward and simple to play.
GREAT GAME FOR ALL.
This game is unplayable in it's current form. Needs to be finished. Wait to buy. Game should have went to beta.
