About the Game
Set in the fictionalized '80s Latin America, Cartel Tycoon tells the story of a time when the cocaine took over first the US, and then the whole world. Ridiculously rich drug kingpins rule over glorious empires, creating thousands of jobs. But a maelstrom of violence threatens this criminal underworld from within.
Build an empire of drug production and smuggling chains while managing rogue lieutenants, state authorities, and public opinion.
Rival gangs, the DEA, army and even the CIA all threaten your growing business. Death is inevitable, but not the end. When you die (it never really ends well for drug lords), crown your successor, and build your empire from the ruins all over again.
In Cartel Tycoon, failure is inevitable and violence begets more violence — but for the cunning kingpin, unimaginable profits await.

Couldnt finish the tutorial because I couldnt get through the gang war, its hard to make tutorials to this kinds of games so I didnt mind much. I will still recommend it becoz its obvious they spent a lot time on this. cheers
Honestly? for the music alone i should definely recomend it, but unfortunately the bad outweights it I can guarante you, if you buy it, and you like agresive micro-management, you will like it! but after the 10th hour mark well, it gets a bit samey worst of all, game got killed for hello neighbour, or whatever the hell it was, horrible choise by tiny build but, whatevs, the developers at least can go and do great things on their own, hopefully all, and all, only buy this if you are really REALLY into old 80-90 cartels, and micromanaging hell, expect little replay value, and no further updates on the game Trully, a shame, best of lucks out there
I love the game. It is a colourful management game, the music and the art captures the vibe of the 80s movie this game is emulating. There are two maps (one with the DLC), three campaign missions and plenty of ingame goals you can set for yourself, and I didn't encounter any technical issues. I don't get why people need to shit on indie games, especially when said games does what it says.
Great for unwinding
Devs abandoned the game.
I just wish it was fun.
Salamanca money! salamanca blood!
Cartel Tycoon is a distinctive blend of economic simulation and narrative-driven strategy, set against the gritty, stylized backdrop of the 1980s Latin American drug trade. It places you in the role of an up-and-coming drug lord building a sprawling empire from the ground up. What starts with modest operations—growing basic crops and running small labs—quickly spirals into a high-stakes logistical game of transporting narcotics, laundering dirty money, managing relationships with government forces, and balancing a volatile network of lieutenants. The game’s world feels alive and volatile, as every action you take has ripple effects across your cartel’s operations and the larger political landscape. Whether you’re dealing with a government crackdown, rival gang incursion, or internal betrayal, there’s always a new fire to put out. The game’s economic engine is where most of the strategic complexity lies. Unlike more straightforward tycoon games, Cartel Tycoon features a d...
