Loved the game, it is a relatively short metroidvania especially when compared to other popular contemporaries like Hollow knight but I think that can be a boon if you are looking for that type of experience. The game is also very forgiving in that unlike some other metroidvania's you do not drop your currency or suffer any real consequences on death. Even though most of the story is very comedic in nature it does also gain some tear jerking moments later on as the game progresses, nothing on the same level of hollow knight or the Ori games but still good storytelling. There are only two main complaints from me, first is that the game does have some reoccurring bugs that I kept running into like small edges on the floor that either my character got stuck on or just stopped me until i jumped as well as when I enter or exit doors I would get stuck under the ground and be forced to reload an earlier save. My other main complaint is the static feeling of the world, in games like hollow ...

Its a bit rough around the edges, but fun nonetheless. There are a few frusraing bugs and i even had a soflock, since the games movement allows entering areas you aren supposed to yet. But what really make me write this review is that this game is focussed on fun. Example: You get an abiliy to bounce of enemies and other objecs, AND IT WORKS OF YOUR OWN OPTIONAL COMPANION.

This is a good game that requires a combination of timing, puzzle solving, and exploration.

Nice game. Very cool premise. Often funny with all the puns and jokes. Colors are nice and vibrant. Level design is a bit confusing but well done overall. Though I have to say there are a bunch of bugs, mostly getting stuck on terrain, and that cost me progress quite often.
