It's a "bit" expensive for what you get.

Updated August 27: DLCs are a waste even at a discount; they add nothing worth it. Notice every one who puts a negative review gets the "JESTER" EMOJI..hmm I wonder who is putting it! Updated June: BEWARE of lies the developers are claiming; they BAN anyone who leaves a negative review. I paid $55+ for the game and some DLCs and left a negative review and they still banned me. Just a horrible group who does not deserve $1 from any of us. *Play the free game now and you will understand why those of us who paid $50-$60 for it were upset; it is barely worth being free! Think to yourself - games do not score 30% positive comments if the problem is the customers vs the game/developers. DLC is a waste - I purchased some! *I knew they would respond. My mind has changed as I played the game - REPLAY VALUE IS HORRIFIC; it seemed good until I played a third time. Then, it was repetitive and boring! I no longer see potential in a game that is so basic and has not been fixed and ...

Review: Of course the intro is non-skippable. Uhhhh the EA-vibes. Roflcopter... In other news: They just cleansed the forum. All but 3 posts are gone. Guess what the posts where about. Here's mine: - - - - - - - You have been banned from Guardians of Greyrock Community Hub 49,99€ for the base game + 118,23€ for DLCs when the game isn't even out 1 quarter? Are you mad? I don't want these kind of things on this platform. Go to some EA-hosted shop or whatever, but bugger off from Steam. Whatever the reason was I wishlisted this (potential or style or whatever to check back later), you've now guaranteed this goes directly onto the ignore list as well as the publisher :BL3Shrug: (Dev idk, might not be at fault, will not be blacklisted for now.) Don't get me wrong: If you had expenses, that's totally fine. But don't think the community will bend over for your misaligned financials. There's a reason folks like EA/Epic didn't win any ground here. See ya :BL3Thumbsup:

Edit: Game is free 2 play now and I can fully recommend it! Also thanks to those giving me free steam points. ;) Save the Kingdom of Greyrock! Guardians of Greyrock is a turn-based fantasy card game. The game offers over 100 unique cards (not counting DLC card packs). Your group consists of 3 heroes (Knight, Monk & Elven Ranger) The goal of the game is to unlock the portal in sunfall vale, and defeat the demons threatening the Kingdom of Greyrock. To unlock the portal you have to collect summoning stones, which are placed on every playthrough randomly on the 50 tokens of the map. Encounters with monsters or loot encounters are also placed randomly on the map each time. Battles are decided by dice, and RNG can be a pain, so plan wisely when using up your cards. You can set up how many summoning stones are needed in total to unlock the portal and how many can be found on the map, as well as other game options, which can make the game easier or more challenging! https://steamc...

I'm not going to comment on the pricing or the drama around the game but I thought it might be helpful to some to have just a quick review of the actual game. (I bought the main game and expansions at half price.) (As said in a previous review, the dice expansions are purely cosmetic.) i think it's good. (Note: I am very much the target market as I love card games) The artwork is fantastic and overall it seems in good shape development wise. (Though I've only played six hours so far.) I think it's going to be one of those games that I just relax with for about 20 minutes at a time. The mechanics are pretty simple though clever, strangely satisfying and quite different from anything else I have. There may be a question over replayability for some (The core loop itself is not that varied). Though, personally, I think I will be returning to the game quite a bit just to chill out. Also, various parameters can be scaled. So difficulty is to suit. So, a thumbs up from me for th...
