If the fleaworker bug is fixed this game would be complete! This is a fantastic game, for less than $4 you'll get your money's worth- as is. It has a great simple art style, which complements gameplay and its use of time. It has a casual look and approach but is actually quite deep and provides hours of gameplay. The main downsides would be: -there isn't an option to fast forward time or pause- tbh I think this is a nice feature, though was off put by it when I first started playing. -the developers have seemed to move on to their other games/projects. -there's a really annoying bug that causes the game to crash within 1-2 minutes after hitting a certain point. Being that the devs have moved on, there doesn't seem to be a fix on the horizon, or solutions from others. If you are the type of person who'd like to play a complete playthrough of a game you like, then I would caution you to reserve your purchase for another Sokpop game. (Pyramida is somewhat similar) There is a persistent...

Love this game - Sokpop is incredible. There's an issue with it crashing if you make it to day ~45 though, which is a little disappointing. But for $3 - I got WAY more than my money's worth. So much charm and cool gameplay for so little money :)
I don't feel like there is any real goal to the game
I like these type of games, cute and things to discover and grow, but it crashed a few times when I feel like I've got something going on.
This is game quite simple and fun! there isn't much content but definitely a try to this game, its cute and somewhat entertaining!
Forced fullscreen along with lack of options for volume or screen, made streaming on discord impossible. I wish my gripes ended there. It feels challenging in the wrong ways. It isn't first time user friendly with very little information available. Granted finding things out is what one does in these types of games, it's very easy for the first playthrough to become utter shit and with very little feeling of reason behind it. Creatures eat the berry bushes, make pots to stop it. After that? Use spears? But only hit one thing before your spear is carried off with no way to recover it. Granted there's only two of them this is ridiculous and creates urgency that won't be taken care of. I'm sure there's more to the game, and since refunding takes forever and the game was less than $5 I'll be playing off and on to find that more, but the first impressions so far are dreadful and do not make you want to continue playing.
One of the worst Sokpop's ever made. FOV might as well be the size of a postage stamp, which is terrible for a game of this kind, and no world minimap, no introduction, no tutorial, no explanation of the game's systems. My major gripe is with the interface. At least with Stackland you can pause and get your bearings. It's just extremely user unfriendly. That's bad design.
Really not sure whether to recommend or not... The game itself, aside from one major bug and frequent crashing is pretty fun. It's very similar to Sokpop's Pyramida, but with Pikmin-like creatures. The constant crashing is irritating, but there's autosave so you won't lose much progress. However, the item-giving bug is much more of a problem IMO: When you let one Sproot give an item to another Sproot which already has a full inventory, the item you are giving will simply disappear. If that happens to an item that took some effort to craft, that's not fun. TIP: If the game keeps crashing when selecting a Sproot from the bottom bar, try moving your camera manually to it first, and try again. And a WARNING: Be very careful when selecting continue or new game on the main menu. If you click new game on accident, your save will be deleted without confirmation.
it feels a bit pointless, but maybe it's not supposed to be a hardcore or otherwise complex game? didn't get the hang of it sadly
honestly i love games like sproots and pyramida i WILL reccomend both of them and also PLEASE SOKPOP MAKE MORE ADDICTING GAMES LIKE THESE RAHHHHHHHH
